We made a reservation and there was no table reserved for us - we had to wait whilst one was reset. We waited so long for service that we had to ask a waitress to take our order. There is a whole page in the menu stating to advise staff of allergies so that they can be accommodated - this is redundant as one of our party could not eat at all, not due to the menu options but due to staff being unwilling to make simple changes. They “ran out” of steak and when asked what else was gluten free, we were told “salmon”. When we enquired what sauces were gluten and dairy free, we were told “gravy”. Who would want gravy with salmon?!The restaurant staff were very rude. The manager - who has no control over or respect from his staff - had to be called to remove the steaks (that were unavailable) from our bill AND he had to be reminded that we didn’t end up getting the steaks we ordered. When we complained about the attitude of the staff, the manager made excuses for them and even disclosed some private medical information of one staff member in a bid to excuse their behaviour. Another staff member raised her voice repeatedly and had to be asked repeatedly by the manager to calm down - she ignored him and continued to yell anyway and when one of our party asked her directly “Please don’t speak to me like that” the manager tried to admonish the member of our party WHO WAS PAYING FOR OUR MEAL for asking the staff member not to raise her voice!Every meal was wrong except one.We were absolutely disgusted and will not return.

The easiest part was signing in as a non-member, entering the crystal room (restaurant) it took a few minutes to be greeted by a waitress to be seated. After placing the orders for 3 of us, we waited 25 minutes for 2 entrees. Waiting is fine but when the pumpkin soup is cold and the kilpatrick oysters are overcooked. When you are paying a similar price to Cairns or Brisbane you would expect some sort of quality control. The mains I won't even mention all I can say is if you are in the area go anywhere else you will be more satisfied and won't spend roughly an hour waiting for a low quality overpriced meal.I included a photo of the lamb shank just so you can see the lack of quality that was mention, this was directly out of the kitchen, hope the staff member enjoyed the meal that I paid for before I got it. The chips taste better frozen from Woolworths and this may seem over the top but 3 of us tried them and the facial expressions were similar to the staff when you mention something isn't right with your meals.

We ordered 2 Rump steaks and veg $30 each!! The meals on first look were massive. But the meat was of poor quality, very chewy and fatty. See pic. No seasoning on meat or sauce. Obviously been grilled on one side and put under grill on the other. Very disappointing meal. I'm sorry but I won't be back to eat. Beers were a good price.

Great venue- welcoming and well run. We visited during the Celtic Festival and they manage the crowds well providing good food and outstanding entertainment.

We go every Friday for meat raffles and every time the food has been awful. Food is usually cold and tonight some of our chicken nuggets were green on the inside and smelt terrible. Generally awful service. (food took so long mine had to come in a takeaway box)
