Met with David Gillard in family law, no fees ever discussed, no fee agreement issued, then out of the blue he charged me. Disgusting behaviour.People like David Gillard give lawyers and the industry the bad name they often get.If you try and complain they ignore your messages. Genevieve Collins their managing partner shows no accountability and refuses to return emails. No professionalism

There is something extraordinary about a business that wears its heart on its sleeve, and lives and breathes the 'greater good'. Lander and Rogers is a law firm that does just that, and it shows in every part of their organisation. The people are warm and sensitive to each other, and those who come into their care. They also go out of their way to help others, as I found when I was leading the Skyline Program at Skyline Education Foundation, where some of our students found mentors willing to give their time and advice.

Excellent knowledge of family law. Both Mr Gough and Mr Marquis were a pleasure to work with. They focused on the outcomes I needed and the best interest of my children. They were honest and realistic about the outcomes we were likely to achieve and that allowed for an early resolution.

Do not assume if you pay more, you get more. L&R charge 60% more than their competitors. It is not done in a more timely manner, there is no extra expertise or knowledge to give extra insight into the case. If you charge 60% more, have a case manager who overseas the case, something, anything to add value. Cases drag on maybe because there is no incentive for closure when you charge per hour?Financial separation, regardless of what has been done by one person with the family money, is adding up a few numbers and dividing them so don't add to your already massive stress and pay through the nose. there are much better and much more affordable options out there - check the google reviews!
