Damian and his crew catered our wedding (which was during the snap-lockdown uncertainties). The food was just fantastic - so tender and juicy. Everything he served was tasty and our guests really loved it. During the lead up to the event, there were multiple changes due to various restrictions coming in and going out. It was really tough to organise, but Spits 'N' Pieces were super flexible, positive and professional. I recommend them very highly and we will certainly use them again!

Damien and his friendly team, from initial communication via phone and email, to the quality of the food and price, were exceptional - they exceeded all expectations. Everything went seamlessly for our 100 guests… the team were professional and the food was sensational. We received compliments on how good everything tasted, even days after! Completely disrespectful customer service. Would not provide me the information I needed on line item costs and became rude when I gave a low end budget that they did not find “reasonable”. Hung up after I provided a ballpark figure without room for more info or negotiation.Terrible first impression, would not recommend.

I had the honour of being an MC at a wedding recently where Spits 'N' Pieces were the caterers so please note that I was not the client & I am not reviewing on the bride & grooms behalf only my own experience. I give 4 stars based on the fact that the food was great & the staff" were excellent. The missing star is because of the attitude of the chef in charge. His bio reads:-"Im Matthew a qualified chef that has been a part of this growing family business since 2011. I have a happy go luck attitude

We used Spits 'N Pieces for an event with 30 people and had the pig on the spit plus the gourmet sides. It was absolutely fabulous - not only was the food delicious but the service was seamless. They brought all the cutlery

Despite the generally great reviews, I and my husband were sadly disappointed. It was my first time using a catering service and it was for my 30th b'day. I really wanted to love the food and leave a great review, and indeed I found the customer service and communication to be great. Sadly the food itself just wasn't. The hair on the pig crackle hadn't been burnt off properly. The crackle was also thin and hard rather than bubbly/crunchy. The pig had no seasoning on it at all that we could detect. The roast veggies were okay, but the salad (namely the Caesar salad), felt like it had no love or care put into it at all. The bacon bits were like little squares of burnt cardboard. The guests seemed happy with the food, but maybe they were just being polite. Maybe we were just unlucky and the chefs were having an off day, or maybe the standards have improved, but I would definitely suggest if you're looking for a caterer, make sure to actually sample & photograph their offerings before deciding which one to go with. If the food is disappointing at the event, at least you'll have something to compare it against should you choose to complain to the service provider. Lesson learnt. Hopefully this review helps some people. Best of luck.

I can't speak highly enough of Damien and his team at Spits n Pieces and I won't be using anyone else for any other events!! Do yourself a favour and book these guys! Not only did every single person who ate (which was the whole party of 80-90 people) but weeks on, I am still getting complimented on the food. The whole pig was a huge winner, plus the sides were amazing! I was let down by a caterer with 2 weeks to go to the event, and Damien literally came in and saved the day. Thank you Damien and team, I literally can not wait until my next event where I can book you again.

I engaged the team at Spits and Pieces recently to cater for my sons 21st Birthday. I could not have been more impressed. The food was excellent, service outstanding and the team were more than accommodating for all out guest. Highly recommend
