Well worth stopping if passing by. Having a fly net will allow you to stop and read all the signs without being bothered by all the flys.

A treasure! This beautiful place commemorates the tragic massacre of Nyungar people at Kukenarup. The site contains sensitive and informative signage and deeply-touching quotes from the descendents of the people who were massacred here. The works of art and the wildflower garden are truly exquisite. Very much worth a visit and a wonderful place to spend time reflecting on culture, humanity and history. Always was, always will be ...

A beautiful place but with a very sad history. It still hurts me to think of it 6 years later. Racism, bigotry, sexism, anti-semitism, homophobia, Islamaphobia, etc, all versions of the same fear, greed, and ignorance ! ! ! No planters needed

Focused on the stories of the families hurt by the horrific events in the area, rather than putting a spotlight on the people who committed the crimes. A nice change. Definitely worth visiting if you're passing through the area. It's a small walk in a loop, from memory around 250m.

For what this memorial serves to highlight the turn off signage doesn't serve it justice. The memorial consists of an easy 1.2km loop trail with sign posts scattered throughout quoting various Aboriginal family accounts of the Ravensthorpe massacre. It was very much an insightful stopover and worth the educational opportunity as well as a break from driving.

A deeply moving memorial. I shed tears of grief and relief. Thankyou to those involved who had the bravery to tell these stories.

Great site, well developed and explained. For most of us, these historical massacres (30 dead) are quite abstract, but they reside as painful memories for the local Aboriginal Peoples. We can't change what's been done, but it seems the most basic thing we can do is to memorialise these events and learn from the past.

Well thought out memorial learnt a lot about the masacre of the local noongar people which you would not know of otherwise definitely spend time reading and taking a stroll on the walking track.
