To say that my hair has never been happier would be an understatement. Rosie is a hair magician! Aside from being delightful company for the duration of my appointment, her colour and style skills are next level. There’s a reason you need to book well in advance to score an appointment with Rosie.

Kendall does such an amazing job colouring my hair and is such an asset to CAKE. Both her and Rosie make the salon so welcoming. As someone with social anxiety and agoraphobia, everyday things like getting my hair done used to be a daunting task; but I feel so at ease at CAKE. I won’t let anyone else in Melbourne colour my hair.

Cake is the place to go if you want your hair done right! The aesthetic of the salon is calming and no annoying phones or hair dryers going off while you’re trying to relax and pamper yourself. Rosie always gives the ultimate experience from friendly greeting to consultation to really understand what you are trying to achieve and executes it flawlessly. I am forever getting complemented on my hair colour and integrity and now a few friends want to come see her! Thanks Rosie I love my blonde you rockstar! Pup Penelope cuddles is just the cherry on top - love this salon and can’t recommend it enough!

I’ve been going to Rosie for the past few years. She is so talented with all things hair! I have always gotten a balayage style colour with different cuts over the years. She listens to what I want and always executes it perfectly. She is also a lovely person who is great to chat to. Highly recommend!

Rosie is the best! Can show her a picture for 2 seconds and walk away with dream hair better than I could’ve imagined. Ever since going to Cake my hair has grown the quickest, longest, and healthiest I’ve ever seen it. 10/10 completely trust her with my hair.

Such a hidden gem! So glad I’ve found this salon, it’s beautiful inside and they use the nicest products. Kendall is a superstar and did the best blonde highlights I think I’ve ever had! After moving to Melbourne recently I’m so stoked to have found my new go to salon!!
