Wudinna Hotel Motel

What a fabulous discovery! On a camping trip between WA & QLD I arrived in town just as the heavens opened. I was actually in the local supermarket at the time. I immediately decided I was not going to camp in that weather! The very helpful lady in the supermarket directed me to this establishment from the front door of the supermarket. When I went to the bar in the hotel another very friendly lady booked me into one of the budget rooms for $90. I was towing a lengthy camper trailer behind & asked if it was possible to park the rig off the street. Again she suggested 2 places within the compound where I might try to park it. The room was one of 4 older budget type rooms but I was not going to complain. I moved my gear in & got myself sorted. I was in need of a hot shower & this too was accomplished. Clean towels, bath gel & tea & coffee making facilities plus a toaster! I could camp here for days! The bonus is that the hotel entrance was mere steps across the driveway from my room. I am presently waiting for the restaurant to open to finish my day with a traditional pub meal. Coming across from Ceduna, Wudinna is the first major town you will encounter. The locals are very friendly & I would recommend a stopover.

We ate in the restaurant & were happily surprised at the healthy quality food after a long drive. 10 years ago when I drove through here everything was terrible. Well worth a stop.

Clean and renovated rooms. Excellent food. Top notch specials and a great menu. In a great little super-friendly town. A 13 minute walk to the airport if you are in a plane. Perfect.

I stayed here for a night while driving across south Australia. The motel's curb appeal" isn't much but otherwise this is a great accommodation choice. My room appeared newly updated and was terrific. Clean and comfortable. The wifi surprisingly fast. The food service and bar were outstanding. Most important

I drove all the way from Perth to Sydney and this was the best Motel I stayed in (Bang for Buck). My room was big, clean, quiet. It had heaps of power points, a ceiling fan, aircon, comfortable beds, good sized fridge, so much more. It had a great Pub with Coopers Pale on tap, a decent menu and huge dining area. Lots of screens (foxtel etc). Beautiful gardens, driveways.... oasis in the desert!

Ordered a pizza and was given a table number sat there for over an hour and a half while other meals were coming out finally asked at the bar and was told it was waiting out the back for a while. Result cold pizza unhappy trucker..

Great rooms , great staff , bed was comfy and clean with aircon. Stayed the night over our trip from Broken Hill to Perth and it was the better motel of the ones we stayed at . Food menu is reasonably good

Very clean and spacious room. Well appointed. Hotel great. Good food, great vibe.
