Wow!!!Really fantastic! Food was incredible, service was great! We ordered the arincini, bread & burratta + some pizzas. a MUST visit. The restaurant looks fantastic, all the presentation is a 10/10. Will definitely be back. Definitely lives up to the hype.

I stumbled upon Gellafrenda in a Concrete Playground article and I’m so glad I did. Between the ambience with the live music and courtyard full of string lights, to the wonderful and friendly staff, and the absolutely delicious food, it has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to, and one of the best restaurants I’ve visited for a long time. So glad it’s local and can’t wait to visit again soon!

My family and I recently had dinner here.The restaurant has lots of outdoor seating under the twinkling fairy lights then there is also the main indoor dining room or four private rooms, we were seated in a private room.We ordered:-Dry Aged Bistecca Beef-Crispy Kipfler Potatoes-Charred Broccolini-Shoestring Fries-Oven Roasted Pumpkin-Kids Margarita PizzaThe food was all delicious although there wasn't really a consistent theme with flavours.My kids loved their pizza and shared some of the rest of the food too.I loved the feta and Parmesan on the fries! The sides were all yummy but I think the veggie sides could have done with being a little bigger for sharing.The steak was really good but it didn't come with the mustards like the menu stated and for me, it wasn't worth $130! As tasty as it was, I've had better steaks and paid less for them.I thought the rest of the menu was well priced though.There is a wine cellar and a great wine list! We tried a Chianti and a Shiraz, both were really nice.The staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful.

We made a booking for my Mum's birthday on a Wednesday night after I read some of the great reviews. The food was very underwhelming. The lamb ragu was watery and bland, the veal was very chewy, angel hair pasta was quite flavourless and meatlover pizza was okay. However, the garlic foccasia for entree was delicious. We were seated in a dark and very cold room. There were multiple new staff, two of which did not know to get a key for the bathroom, which left me standing and waiting outside a cubicle with no-one in it.

The entrees tasted so good! Generous servings and high quality too. I also really liked the pesto pasta but as much the pizza. However, the customer service and the whole experience was great

Nice place to eat with great service and plenty of smiles. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Hard to fault. A few fussy preferential things like the bite of the broccolini or the thickness the bistecca was sliced but for a locally owned operated Penrith venue this is class. Service was friendly. Definitely recommend for a nice meal or to impress a +1

Presentation of the food is on point however it does lack quite strongly in taste for the pasta we had. Pizza was decent but pasta fell through for its price range as the sauce was extremely bland. Service was attentive tho.

The food took a while to arrive, I didn't understand the reason for the delay because there were few people and when it arrived it was cold. I also found it tasteless. Only the Focaccia was delicious
