We wanted to support a local business and stopped in for lunch. The staff were lovely and the food was OK but sitting outside was awful, unless you're a smoker then it's heaven! Trying to enjoy your meal while people were non stop smoking and vaping isn't pleasant at all. I thought it was a health department ruling that people can't smoke (or vape) in an outdoor eating area but I guess not. The smokers were all on the deck but there were so many of them that the smoke and vape was impossible to avoid.To walk inside for a drink, or the loo, meant walking through thick smoke - quite revolting. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this place at all, unless you're a smoker and if so, this is the place for you. For a nice relaxing meal outside it's not recommended at all. The deck is right next to the eating area so it's not really a smoke free eating area at all so I'm not sure how that gets around the Health Department regulations when it comes to not smoking in an eating area.The coffee was a 5/10 - quite watery and not much coffee flavour to it but the chips and salad were nice. The chicken parma was OK, nothing special but not awful either. My partner got the nachos which had cold tomato puree stuff just poured onto the corn chips. It would have been nicer if the salsa" sauce had been heated up which wouldn't have been too hard to do and would have made a big difference to the meal.Sorry I couldn't write a nicer review. The staff were friendly and service was good

A place to call a home. A down to earth, family-owned and no frill Aussie restaurant. Come here to be served with touch Aussie friendliness and country welcome. I’m non-white Aussie. Yet the staff in this country hotel pub treat me as their own family. You can’t get that this feel at Melbourne City hotel pubs.In addition , they are very gay friendly hotel pub. My partner ordered veggie parmigiana and I ordered calamari with salad and chips. They are delivered with pride and taste. No complaints of whatever. We both enjoyed it to the core.I highly recommend this country pub meal to anyone travelling up to Yarra Junction. Don’t forget to try their parmigiana and their local Victorian accent.

Came here for a late lunch today and boy was I pleased I got the spicy pork and fennel pizza along with a pina colada from the new pizza menu and the new cocktail menu and must say has been the best pizza and beverage I have had for a long time ! Supreme service and all staff are lovely ! 10/10 reccomend

Pub atmosphere was great! Came up for the weekend for my birthday. Best gluten free Parmi I have ever had!!After speaking with the owner (can’t remember her name, sorry!) who was so lovely and very welcoming. We came to find all your sauces were homemade which really made the meal even better.Definitely will be returning, great atmosphere and value for money. Great country pub!

Tried the prawn pizza and Italian sausage pizza. The prawn pizza was exceptional, very tasty with large prawns. The Italian pizza was just as tasty but could have used some more herbs. Definitely will be going back to sample the other menu items.

Went in for mothers day lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful, wheel chair axcess is available but could be improved. meal was great and affordable overall a lovely time at the hotel more than happy to return for a meal.

Love seeing familiar faces there service has always been nice and friendly food has been excellent in the past, since new owners it doesn't seem as relaxed which we liked the relaxed environment but still very good food

New owners who are absolutely lovely and have great plans for further improvements! Lovely atmosphere and food is high quality. Service was slow the night we came due to staff sickness but the owner was amazing in talking to us and will not deter us going back again!

New owners are killing this pub. What used to be our first place to choose for a meal as a local resident it’s has quickly become somewhere we won’t be going to again. The older man behind that bar is the rudest person I have met and is turning people away from returning even when we were trying to pay our bill. Although the new lady owner is very happy and helpful, the staff are being too demanding, we had our table attended to over 10 times tonight by the waitress in a matter of around 30 minutes. We have tried the pub a few times since the new owners but tonight was the last… fix it or you will be losing the locals families fast. The only thing that pub has saving it at the moment is their waitress June. She is a god sent and the only reason we didn’t walk out tonight after being question about who was drinking what drinks. Absolutely disgusted in our treatment tonight after being regulars for over 20 years.

Amazing food with that quality service we don’t get to see much in hospitality much these days.Rhonda is warm, welcoming and radiates passion in her delivery. She shows care and enthusiasm in the service she provides to every person that walks into Cunninghams, making a room of strangers feel right at home.There is a large range on the menus to chose from and it is obvious that the food is prepared with quality ingredients.
