SIXT Car & Truck Rental Castle Hill

This is the most dissapointing truck rental company I've ever dealt with... Perhaps the other branches are better and only Castle Hill is misrepresenting their brand.1) Recently we rented a truck and almost drove off before we realised there was a pool of liquid in the back and it smelt terrible. They were contemplating not to do anything about it until we suggested a different truck on the lot.2) The admin is incredibly slow even though no customers were there. We only needed to swap trucks cause the first one was poorly kept, all other paperwork was done.3) The tail gate remote was missing and we were told that the remote does not come with the truck and using the manual key is the only way to operate. When we returned the truck, another customer returned a truck as well and told us that the remote was part of their truck, a Sixt team member jumped in to say that you have to request for the remote but the other customer said he didn't need to and it was there already.4) The reversing camera is faulty, when we returned the truck, we told the staff about it and they confirmed it was faulty. Moments later, a different staff member goes and inspects it and with some tinkering must of repaired it so told us it was all fine. A reversing camera is meant to work when you put the car in reverse and no other tricks required, I feel this is a reasonable expectation.Upon returning the truck, we politely asked for a discount due to the reasons above as it had made the moving day extremely stressful for us. We were rudely told No by a team member called Arjun. He was very aggressive and disrespectful, I will never rent from this place again.Truck rental date: sat 22/4Truck return date: sun 23/4

I used this company last minute due to other places having sold out vehicles. When I arrived the service was ok from the gentlemen who served me, he took nearly 40 mins of checkin time to figure out my booking and constantly had to ring the boss. It was time consuming as I had a schedule to attend and leave. I even had another customer leave before me and they arrived later. The car exterior was dirty (photos provided - first was pickup and the second is when I dropped it off clean inside and out). I had asked the reception man to clean it but they only rinsed it with water. But overall experience was poor from the car to waiting around. I won’t go through this company again. The car came back cleaner then when I picked it up. But thank you to the lovely lady at reception who made the experience better with her attitude and smile as she was accommodating on the side while I was dealing with the other gentlemen.

Was told to return 8 to 12. Returned at 11. Charged for 2 days, supposed to be 1. Whoever sent me an invoice clearly doesnt understand what hes or shes doing. Very careless.

Booked 12 seats car but on the day was told no car, almost screwed our day lucky we had plan B. The receptionist kept appologysing so it made us feel a bit better but we booked an activity and pre-paid hundreds of dollars, relying on this car to take the 10 of us there. Plan B cost a bit more, but what if we didnt have plan B? all the big money we paid for the activity, and our happy mood, would be wasted and gone. Sixt, i picked you, NOT Hertz, NOT other companies. You failed me and you will never gain our trust again. Keep the receptionist so he can calm other customers when it happens again.

Highly recommended for car rental! Very professional staff, fast and efficient process, good price and great car! The Camry Hybrid was very nice, will rent again!

Disgrace of a company. Rented a truck for 1 day which lasted me less than 1 hour. Battery was well and truly dead. After waiting for 3 hours for roadside assist and completely screwing over our moving plans, the company was entirely unwilling to compensate. They denied any responsibility and blame the customer. A disgraceful business model. Do not trust these con men.

Halah .....Your customer service is extremely excellent keep up the good work. it was a nice to drive the hire car. , It was comfortable as well.

Disgusting and unroadworthy rental van. Van had not been cleaned inside or out. Coffee and soft drinks spilt throughout the inside, full of rubbish , smelly and bald tyres. Only 1 tonne van they had available at pickup. Stuck 45 mins from home. No choice but to accept as is..... I will never rent from SIXT again.

SIXT Customer Service rep Shalah was an absolute dream. She worked hard to proved a quality experience. I've very thankful for her going above and beyond.

I had an single accident around one month ago with one of the SIXT Hire VAN. Unfortunately I hadn't any insurance for that Vehicle. After I returned the Van they charged me more than $5500 !!!I called customer service for calming and sent an email but nobody replied me. I attached a picture with this damaged and please compare it with Accident Fee!!! I am %100 sure repairing less than $5500.
