Best pub meal we had in Tasmania. Great quality, big serve. Lovely fresh vegetables with meal. We stayed for the night the room was clean, well stocked fridge at good prices.

Was recommened. Mum had the rack of lamb which she said was wonderful. I had the eye fillet, med rare, and unfortunately it was well done. At $45 I would like to think the chef would know that it should have a little juice! Dessert I had sticky date. Requested extra sauce but told it could not happen. It was good but more of the very tasty sauce would have made it great. It is a pub meal but the recommendation talked it up and I was disappointed. For the price I would not return .

Had dinner there, went with a friend who was in a wheel chair. Had a great night for one exception, the scollaps dish that was ordered was over cooked. Otherwise a good night. The steak was perfect. I'd venture to say your deep fryer was hotter than 180 degs this overcooking the scollaps dish.

Its important to respectfully treat your customers or any other human being truly speaking .. customers are not always right but if you serve food with a bad attitude, overall experience goes downhill which ultimately results in bad business in the long term.I have worked in hospitality too and i dont remember treating people with passive aggression.Food was good. Aioli was amazing. Good view.

I'm both disapointed and disgusted with the service and integrity of the restaraunt. I booked the function room. Initially I tried booking the Saturday night but they were booked. They asked if I could do Friday night as they had no bookings that night. I was called a week later to be told I will be sharing the function room with another group I asked why when I booked for 40. They aplogises and said that they will keep my booking as sole access to the function room. I phoned to confirm all details two weeks prior to the event. They confirmed the booking and told me that I have rhe function room for my event. I was called three days later to be told they we're moving all 40 of us in the dining room because another group need the room and the audio visual equipment. They didn't even ask me if we needed the equipment. It turns out the group was booked after mine and it took priority because they are a business running an event. Fortunatly another restaraunt is more then happy to take us as their customers.

I was highly impressed with this new hotel. They have renovated most rooms and they have done an excellent job. Our family room was massive (6), with two bedrooms, but it didn’t face the beach unfortunately. The bed was hard. The bathroom was also very large, but no bath, which is odd for a family room. There is a reasonably priced mini bar, and free tim tams to go with your coffee. Free breakfast is picked from a limited menu, and for free, it’s excellent. Breakfast is sent to your room the night before at around 545. Unfortunately the muffin is frozen. The room also has an electric fireplace. There is also free Austar. The location if perfect. We didn’t eat t the restaurant, but a lot of the menu and wine is Tasmanian, exactly the way it should be. The staff allowed us to plug in our Tesla too, even though the paid charger is across the road. Simply brilliant. The compendium needs to be updated to show the new TV remote control.

Extensive selection of beers and packaged spirits and wines. The menu is varied with generous portions. Ultra efficient staff, and relaxed atmosphere in the gaming room.Ideally located, can recommend highly!

Had lunch at the hotel, which was quite enjoyable. The menu had a great range to choose from, and children are catered for as well. Ideal for family and friends to dine out together, as l have done before.
