Had a very unpleasant experience this evening at this Woolworths. Would be wondering how often it happens and people do not notice. So I paid for my items and my card takes a long time on eftpos machine to be read. See on terminal it has been approved via eftpos and checkout person proceeds to say I'm sorry your payment never went through. What? You want me to pay again. It had been quite obvious that she was pushing something on her screen right as payment had been approved. Staff immediately took her side and I was like the scammer all for $20. Anyway cutting long story short. No one apologised to me when all was proved my way and guess what I will never go through a manned checkout again and I will never shop at this woolworths again. Have nearly given up on Woolworths anyway and this has pushed me out the door. Make sure you watch everything in this store.

Overall ok as a food store, but there are too few staff on the checkouts, and getting around the shop is often difficult as there are large trolleys in each isle, unloading items on the shelves. In addition there are always several staff going around collecting items for home delivery. All very good, but it makes shopping an even more difficult proposition. More staff on the check outs and fewer in the isles would improve things markedly. Mind you the staff on the check outs, when you finally get to them, are very friendly, but often overworked.

Every time I come into the store when the small bald guy is working (I think he’s the grocery manager or some other type of manager) he always follows me around the store trying to ‘catch’ me stealing. Without fail he will always follow me around the store, from aisle 1 to the freezer section to the self checkout. It’s funny because I’ve literally never stolen anything in my life. I’ve never had this kind of treatment anywhere in Australia and it’s gotten to the point where it honestly feels like he’s profiling me.

Went in for my afternoon weekly shop. Was utterly disgusted by the actions of one of your male workers, who came up to me very abrupt and rudely with a trolley in hand. He started screaming at me, I'm not sure what he said in the moment as the only thing I could think was oh wow

I am astonished, I am a 65 year old man with a cane, im sure you’d be as surprised as me when I was run down by a man with a big cart of products, i splat down to the ground like a slice of ham, the man told me his name but I only remember it started with an R, he apologised but laughed as he walked away, this young man had now caused me to have to walk with a limp on top of using my cane, now. I now walk like Claude and people on the streets have mistaken me for him, Claude is a nice man, but it’s frankly offensive that people think I’m him just because of a kid that can’t watch where he’s going, this kid should have gone to specsavers

Woolworths Kennington Village
Went into Woolworths Kennington Village. Bought a litre of milk. When I arrived home it had leaked through my shopping bag into the car. Rang and spoke to Manager. He delivered to my home replacement milk and to my surprise a box of chocolates. I was amazed at this. It went way above my expectations. Brilliant service, unheard of in this day and age.
