Eight Mile Plains Family Doctors

Turned me away from their reception because they were too busy" whilst I had an open cut requiring stitches..."

I travel 45 minutes to go here. I used to live up the road and finally found a doctor who cares and investigates and has boundaries wont over medicate. Dr SUMEDHA AMARASINGHE is the only doctor I've found in Australia (been here 9 years) that actually is interested in a long term health plan. I find it so hard to read bad reviews at this practice. It is sad that the reviews for this clinic are directed at reception and that those reviews go against the doctors. There is no one else I'd trust. I have also seen other doctors here and had no issues.I have been trying to go to find a doctor near me other side of Brisbane for a year and have had 3 terrible experiences with 3 doctors who do not care at all...

I wish there is an option where I could not give a Star at all. They don't deserve even one star. The worst place I've been so far, I was given only 15mins to explain my side while the doctor look at the computer trying to write what I told her, then I was told your time is up and need to hurry up coz she got other patients to attend to.What kind of doctor would do such thing to her patient? I am never ever going there again.

Very professional and experienced doctors!!I like Dr. Sumedha,, she is very thorough and very patient when listening to patients. Will recommend this practice!!

my experience here is very good but i don't like the behaviour of reception staff, one girl on the reception i dont know her name she is speaking very rudely to me

The worse place ever to visit. They should actually shut down.Covid19 vaccinations- not availableOther Vaccinations- not available.Flu shots- not available.Sat/sun appointments- not available.Evening appointments- not available.Doctors prescriptions/advise are not great either. If you care for your health please do not visit this place. 0 outof 10 from me.

Long waiting hours with no logical explanation or reasoning. Unless you have lot of time to waste in their waiting area find another place who got some respect for your time. Dr Sumedha is a good doctor and had couple more good doctors as well in the past. But the place is hopeless.

Very professional and helping doctors at this surgery, especially the Receptionist- Taru, she is so welcoming and kind to every patient who comes. Highly recommended!!

This place is not a bulk billing only weekends, the receptionist did not tell me the doctor who was available it is not a bulk billing doctor, so shame, diagnosis - not sure I’ve re booked my regular doctor at different practice lol
