This is a very relaxing place to have a drink on a lazy sunny day in the Balwyn area. Being previously a dry zone in the Eastern Suburbs - this is one of the few places to enjoy a drink in the zome between Kew and Box Hill. There is a great outdoor area out the front of the shop with tables and chairs that let's you enjoy the sun while you drink your wine. Well worth a stop in if you don't want to go to the hustle and bustle of Box Hill, the significant drive to Doncaster or zooming down to the pubs in Kew.

Tom and the team at Bin 3 are so friendly and helpful. I hosted my baby shower there on a Saturday and it was the easiest process and a great venue for functions! Everyone had a great time and being able to cater ourselves made the process so much easier. I would highly recommend booking a function there!Thanks Bin 3 team!

The coffee was okay here. I finished mine but my partner couldn’t. Not the best I’ve had, not the worst. The pastries were delicious.The staff were kind, and I’d recommend going just to spend time in such a thoughtful, happy place.Atmosphere 5/5Food 4/5Coffee 3/5

Quick takeaway coffee stop today. Bin 3 met the brief with the coffee machine and barista viewable from the street. This seems to be a cafe and bar combined with wine bottles for sale resting all along the right wall as soon as you enter. There were some impressive ones there too. My coffee was quite good.

I came here in the morning to meet a friend for coffee. Honestly, I'm slightly confused with the idea of a cafe combined with a bar. I mean I have seen bars serving coffee, but Bin 3 cafe seems to be maintaining a balance.The coffee was good and the staff seemed pleasant. They were welcoming.Overall, a decent cafe, oh, and a wine bar. :)

What a fabulous little find?! The welcome as soon as you walk in, the buzz around the shop, the variety of both caffeine and alcohol on offer!! Tom, Pete and team please keep up the awesome community vibes!! I love, love, love the birdcage!! I could sit there all day!! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Balwyn for work.
