Made an appointment to get my ears microsuctioned in the Mater Outpatients Clinic in Rockhampton Central Queensland. Appointment was very unprofessional, did not ask any questions about my history with my ears or health history. Microsuctioning was done in a chair in a room with luggage and paperwork all over the bed and floor, procedure is usually completed on a bed as the air can make patients dizzy, patients movement can increase chances of perforation of the eardrum. Procedure was painful (because the man was rough) and unsuccessful. When asked if my ears felt better I said yes just so he would stop. Very disappointed, won't be using this service again. I've been getting my ears suctioned for 10 years now and this was by far my worst experience, unfortunately it was my first experience with clarity. Will be travelling down to Gold Coast next time.
