Sunshine Coast Airport

Still remains a very small regional airport, even with its status as a semi-international airport, the terminal is extremely basic but it does its job well and provides plenty of food and seating, and the toilets are very clean as is the entire airport. The flight is beautiful leaving and coming back to the Sunny Coast and there is nothing better then coming back and breathing the Queensland humidity.

The failure of food outlets to clearly mark prices is deceitful. $13.50 for a beer and $7 for a coffee is extortionate. SCA should require vendors to clearly display prices for all food and drinks for sale.Apart from that the airport is modern and suitable for holiday makers transiting through for their vacation

Best of both worlds.It has all the advantages of a regional airport, like easy access and no traffic worries, ample car parking, a navigable terminal, relaxed staff etc.It also has international flights.It's a good alternative to Brisbane or the Gold Coast, especially if you're heading north.The shopping is limited, the domestic departure area gets packed when there are a few flights departing and the international departure area is quite basic.The Border Force team do not live up to the unfriendly reputation that the TV shows from the bigger airports show.

Wow, airport was so busy. Line ups for everything. Lucky to get a table to eat the food. Food arrived quickly but tables were not cleaned. Parking was nearly non existent. Cars trying to get out of queues for parking. Very hectic airport

God this airport needs a major renovation. It's not big enough to deal with the number of passengers that use it. Aircon barely copes. Gates 1 and 2 are in a demountable with 2 mini aircons. Security queue often outside the airport in the humidity and heat. Worst airport ever.

A small airport, but with everything you need, such as rental car offices and visitor information centre etc.. Not far to the central Sunshine coast.

What a joke of an airport. I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast for 25+ years. Used the airport on many occasions, but today takes the cake.The flight was only half full, corralled into the baggage area, the photo shows absolute lack of facilities. Wish I could have shown the toilet situation. A plane load of people, crammed into a tiny space waiting for bags, the gentleman’s toilet is one urinal and one toilet, the ladies two toilets. I know there are other toilet facilities in the building but once you leave the baggage area you can’t get back???How ANYONE could ever deceive themselves enough to state that this is an international airport is totally beyond reckoning!!!!!About time, that at the expense of local residents, this airport picks up its game BIG TIME…….I remember the mayor stating if we build it they will come……..lolVisitors would come ONCE and never again.Shame on the council and shame on the airport management for allowing such a poor facility to be a representation of our beautiful Sunshine Coast!!!
