Applecross PreKindy & Kindy

My #mrthree is loving his time here and has settled in well over the past five weeks. He often comes home with a new piece of artwork and it's great to see what they've been up to. The teachers are all very friendly and provide frequent photo/video updates via the app during the day. They are also happy to answer questions at pick-up time. This was our first time with an external care provider, so I was apprehensive (about everything!) but they have made the whole process smooth and reassuring and I would happily recommend Applecross Pre-Kindy & Kindy.

My two children attend here and absolutely enjoy their day. They have lots of different activities and the teachers are always interacting with my children. I was a parent helper one day and it was so great to see the engagement and the love and care they had for all the children was amazing. Plus my children excelled in social and other developmental areaa. Keep up your good work and hoping you continue to employ great teachers.

Wonderful prekindy with caring and friendly staff. Our daughter has enjoyed a very positive experience here and we appreciate the level of attention the staff put into her learning and care. She is learning Spanish too and so many new songs are coming home and we love it. This is a great place.

The female manager: pretty apparent to me she is not suited to early child care .. She was not the normal warm person that you would find caring for small children, when I would see other children crying her response didn't seem very nurturing. Parents are not allowed in the back playground - reason- it makes some children cry seeing other parents (it all seems odd, its like they hate crying kids moaning to me about a little child that cries all day... perhaps a career change is strongly suggested if that is the case). When I asked if I could provide my own sunscreen the same lady responded with a bit of a huff that its too hard" and if they do it for one they have to do it for all. When I pushed the matter she finally agreed. I noticed a few hazards

Our child has flourished at this school. She loves going to daycare and is happy when I fetch her. I can see that her interests are being nurtured and her skills have improved in leaps and bounds. Her vocabulary too!I appreciate the updates via the app throughout the day. My little one also loves looking at the pictures when I fetch her, and it helps her talk about her day.I've found the staff friendly, professional and quick to respond to queries as well as complaints. From the way they talk about my child I can see that they care for her.What more could you ask for from a place that minds your child in your stead?
