Pretty upset actually. I've only heard good things about these guys so I decided to take my car in for a basic service. I was quoted $185.00 or $200.00 if it needed an engine flush.I went and picked up my car and the bill was $334.50, because I needed spark plugs changed and something to do with my air conditioning. Plus the actual servicing of the car was $220, not $185.00 They never called me and asked my permission to perform these extra services and I didn't even get an apology or acknowledgement that they should have rang me first. I now have absolutely no money.Really disappointed and won't be returning.

Just picked my car up yesterday and couldn't be more impressed with the service and quality of the service definitely would recommend this mechanic to anyone I know as Ive never had a problem with the staff and the owner

Took my vehicle in for timing belt change. Got home to find the coolant had all leaked out. Was told not his fault and had to replace the water pump at extra cost, did that and guess what the pump is leaking just after 2 years. Poor workmanship.

Highly recommend Mad Mechanical, awesome prompt service, honest, value for money and friendly.Recently moved from Gold Coast and choosing new mechanics and all the normal services you require can be very daunting.Someone recommended Mad Mechanical after getting 3 different quotes prior for replacing front struts and shocks. I saved $300 from 1 and $200 from 2 others places.I have also recommended to others and one saved $8k after getting quoted from 1 mechanic for petrol in diesel vehicle and had a list of things needing to be fixed!! cost just over $400 with Mad Mechanical as it didn’t do the damage the other guy mentioned.

Pretty disappointed as I only heard good reviews. Was told I needed to change my disc rotors and brake pads, when I knew my brake pads were decent and had about 10,000kms left.

Came in with a transmission glitch. Was told it needed to be replaced. Went and got a second opinion from a transmission specialists. Just needed new fluid. Saved myself over$2000 by going elswere. Lost all confidence in them after that.
