Centre situated next to Transwa bus stop, electricity museum and located just outside of main street. Lots of items but limited tours available. Lovely people working there.

Really enjoyed visiting the Power Up Museum & Timber Museum with my kids. There was alot of interactive activities for the kids to do in the Power Up Musuem.Started at PARK Manjimup for breakfast then made our way through the Power Up Museum then timber Museum finishing up at the Visitor Centre. Easily spent a good 2 hours here. If it was sunny we would have spend more time here exploring the playground and parks. Manjimup is a nice family friendly area!

Generally the information centre is the go to place when we arrive at somewhere new. Unfortunately we don’t know whether the “i” in Manjimup is useful or not. The staff member on duty was only interested in conducting a private discussion with a local, about politics and Covid, ignoring us completely. What we can tell other travellers is that this is more a gift shop, with little available tourist information for the local area, which is surprisingly why we went in, in the first place. After 10 mins we left, very disappointed with our atypical experience.

The young man who attended us yesterday was absolutely disappointing He told us that you couldn’t get cherries from the local cherry farm. We went to the local farm on the advice of a local person we met in the street. We bought the most beautiful cherries and other stone fruit you could ask for. He also omitted to tell us about the award winning “ Tall Timbers”which we read about later and would love to visit had we known.

Walked into Information Centre. Stood at counter for a while - we were ignored. Centre well stocked but Lady wasn't interested in helping us so we left. We were the only customers in the centre.
