Lots of blocks going in here and some infrastructure too. It's good to see a park for families to go to around the housing estates.

I've checked out quite a few housing estates around the area. The biggest advantages for Billie's Lookout are that it's surrounded by nature, close to the lake and doesn't seem as sterile as some of the other industrial looking estates.

i was born and live in James street they have stuff our bush walking tracks and motor bike tracks and our camping at the caves and we used to help clean up the old cemetery they stuff this place for other kids

Great place to live, just a shame now more than 2 years after development started, McCloys Group still haven't provided safe access to Booragul Train Station and we still have a dirt track that gets muddy on rainy days.

Nice elevated spot next to the playground at Billy's lookout. Look forward to seeing how the land is developed. Not much to see on the ground now but enjoyed it's position and bush location.

great new housing development in a fairly decent location that is close to public transport, schools, shops and local businesses. a close look at google maps puts a small industrial area and train lines in a close proximity to this housing estate. some excellent views and untouched (until now) bush land locations make it a naturally beautiful area. due to on going development there may not be much bushland left to be explored and enjoyed for much longer.

This development has one MAJOR flaw. There are approximately 484 lots when complete, housing in excess of 1000 people. This vast area, encircled almost entirely by the railway line & with much preserved bushland, has only ONE road of single lane (Pitt Street) allowing ingress & egress. Should there be a bushfire of any magnitude, escape would be extremely difficult, with emergency vehicles also using this road to gain access. What happened to the provision for a second access via bridge over the railway to join up with Woodrising intersection? Why was that reversed? This is a disaster waiting to happen & is just not good enough!Since writing this review, the developer Kapalua has blocked me from the Billys Lookout Facebook page! Heavens above, can't handle the truth perhaps?
