I used to love this place but new owners have destroyed it.We are very local. Tried to pop in after a casual date night on a Thursday. We were refused entry because my husband had thongs on despite jeans and dress shirt. Wouldn’t have been more than ten people inside.Another visit. Got in but ordered $20 cocktail, terrible couldn’t drink it. Music was awful. Crowd was very odd. Seemed to be friends of owners.This bar now feels like a hang out for the owners friends and not much more.Gave it a third try with a school mums catch up. Terrible music, drinks and crowd. Again seemed to be the same friends of owners. So disappointing!In response to the rude reply below. I try to support local business. Hence my repeat attempts to have a good experience at your venue. If you are making so much money that you can afford to turn decent patrons away at the door good luck to you!

Had a lovely date night tonight. A few drinks and yummy food. I vote that the mozzarella cheese balls stay on the menu as they are delicious.

Emma Tomlinson was amazing! We were thinking of going to another place when we got there but she made us want to stay, she set the atmosphere of the whole place! Amazing!! Drinks were also really nice!

Papa Leon is the best part about this place, he plays all the songs everyone requests and if he doesn't know them he literally learns them that day ready to perform them the next day! He's so talented and an amazing musician, seriously he gets the crowds going and everyone dances. Love coming to watch him perform every Friday and Saturday night.Not too keen on them trying to turn it into a hipster bar, since a range of aged people come in and they will lose their older customers if they turn it into some gay jazz bar or something. So hopefully they keep it the way it is with the rad tunes :)

Great bar in Manly that's a step in the right direction to the kind of places that need to open in the area.The food in this venue is delicious and the bar manager is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. There are great beers available on tap and while more variety in that department would be nice I understand it's not always possible with a venue of this size.It's a really pleasant environment both in side and outside the bar and I would encourage anyone to go give the place a try.Keep up the good work guys.

Finally a cool bar in Manly, fast and friendly service.. authentic craft beer on tap, good whisky selection, gourmet meatballs, yummy sliders, happy hour 6-7pm! good dress code..and an awesome band!! Going back again!

We go to the Bluebottle at least every couple of weeks. They have a good variety of beers and burgers as part of the $20 deal. Nice atmosphere and the staff are efficient and friendly.

This family bar far exceeds expectations when it comes to service, friendliness, hygiene and overall the atmosphere is incredible to relax with a few after a long week.The owners are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile.This family bar is a must to visit...don't wait...get on down to the Bluebottle and greet the owners Joe & Michelle with a Kia Ora.

Went to Thursday night Kareoke, was such fun, quite small but cosy, good mix of people of all ages, just enough room for a bit of a dance, drinks very reasonably priced. Didn't eat there. So can not comment on the food.
