What beautiful little country cottage this is , the minute we arrived, we were greeted by Caroline , who is a lovely lady, who told us , we can uses all the fantastic gardens to our selves , the cottage we stayed in was absolutely spotless , and took you back in time , the breakfast the next day was amazing , all fresh products , Caroline and her husband, made our weekend stay soRelaxing , my wife and I were a 100% delighted.highly recommended .

Great overnight stay as we had a wedding at Core Cider House.Welcoming owners and really pleasant cottage. Welcome platter was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in the coach house for two nights. What a hidden gem this place is! We got a complimentary platter on arrival and a very nice breakfast each morning. Great weekend away to explore all the nearby wineries. 5 stars.

Exactly as we remembered it. Comfortable bed, good hot water pressure, excellent complimentary breakfast. Was wonderful to have breakfast in the garden. Just what we were hoping for.

5 Star B&B. All the things you'd expect to find in a 5 star hotel, only in a beautiful country B&B cottage. We stayed here on our wedding night and the owners went out of their way to make our stay fantastic.

We loved our stay here. The accommodation and owners were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Lesmurdie was great to explore. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Fawkes House Country Retreat
A lovely weekend getaway from the city at Fawkes House. The cottage is private and very comfortable, set in beautiful gardens. The 60 minute massage was professional, and just what the doctor ordered. A great selection for breakfast by the fire in the stunning old house. Thank you, Caroline and Richard. We'll be back.
