I've tried three times to get into a class, even emailed for direct help. And the only fruit to come of it is attitude from Di.

After going here for 3 teams there was something's that I didn't like from this place, I heard from other people to that they to don't like this place. One of the teachers was nice but I could tell she didn't like me or my work. She only likes you if you do what she wants you to do, like making pots and stuff but make anything else well it might go missing. I lost work here and lots of things have been broken here, 2 of mine has been broken and I seen many other pots been broken which has just came out of the kiln. I wouldn't recommend going here if you don't mind spending around $350 a tarm and having your stuff get lost.

I have absolutely loved attending classes with Sam at Parramatta Clay and Arts! Sam is a calm and supportive teacher who allows everyone to work at their own pace. She offers support and suggestions to help (even the more advanced students) build and refine their skill set.I haven’t just learnt how to make things using clay- but also how to wedge clay, care for equipment, gain an understanding about the chemical reactions of different glazes, attach handles….the list goes on.Thank you for everything Sam and Di.

Have undertaken 2 terms here (beginner and intermediate) and enjoyed all the classes. Sam is a fantastic ceramics teacher -- she works patiently with everyone at their own level and provides lots of demonstrations and support. Classes are very relaxed, students are free to pursue what interests them and it is great to see the different kinds of work that get produced. Students are given lots of options in terms of glazes, decoration, and building methods. Thanks Sam and Di.

Love the adults classes with Stefan, started as a beginner and have found a new passion.

Di (one of the teachers) was rude and made me uncomfortable. Highly doubt I will go back. Her attitude and comments she made made me feel unwelcome and really overshadows the overall experience.

Just finished the 4-week beginner-level introduction to wheel throwing class and highly recommend it! Di was a wonderful teacher – she is experienced, patient, friendly and attentive. The classes are restricted to about 8 students as there are only so many pottery wheels. This class size works really well as it allows Di to check in and provide personal feedback and guidance for every student. It’s been such a pleasure attending these classes and I really feel I’ve gained new skills in throwing clay on a pottery wheel, centering the clay, pulling it up into a cylindrical shape, trimming the base, adding a foot to the base, and slip application. Hope to come back to get more practice and learn new techniques soon!!

Di was great! We went to the four week beginner course having no idea what to do, and have left with 16 beautiful mugs, bowls and pots! Di was so helpful and always helped us fix whatever mistake we had made. Really nice having it as a small class as you were able to get to know everyone. Would highly recommend! Also very good prices compared to other pottery studios!- Micaela and Jay
