The best WA NP campsite we’ve stayed at in WA. Well set out, great camp kitchen, clean drop toilets with hand sanitizer. Lots of wildlife visitors.Lovely walks in the bush and near the lake (no swimming). A wonderful place to enjoy nature.

My partner and I spent 2 nights here in our camper trailer. The roads may be bumpy but the roads are so spacious and clean so it was a breeze getting in and out. The best part about the trip were the 2 volunteers that were so welcoming and kind. We all had many interesting conversations and experiences with them. Lastly, these 2 volunteers have kept the campground so clean and tidy that they deserve an award for it.

The camp site ranger David is such a lovely person and the camp-site itself is in well kept conditions. The camp grounds themselves are fairly large; for reference I booked 4 campsites (10-13) for 8 people but we didn't even use our forth camp-site. They can easily fit 2 medium sized tents, or if you utilise space 6-7 swags. We used one site as a gathering spot, easily fitting 2 gazebos. The site is close to Harvey Cheese and Harvey Dam (~25mins) which was a wonderful little treat and also a 10 min drive to the beach. It's also near a few wineries. The lake itself was beautiful! In the picture there's a stick visible from the water to help people who get lost (apparently it happens a lot). The night sky is also spectacular! You may only use the communal camp-fires (there are two) to light fires. Understandable as some people often abuse site camp fires. However near the communal campfires is a large BBQ area so you can cook as well. The pics don't do it justice!Has reception (Optus/Vodafone(not sure about others)) if it's necessary.

If you drive a small car (not suv or 4wd), i dont recommend you to drive in here because the path to the campground is awefully bumpy with rocks. It took us 20-25 mins to drive that path because we have to drive in maximum 20km/h. There are nothing much to do around that campground, the view was just alright. We didnt stay in our campsite the whole day but to drive down to bunbury to walk around instead. The campground facility is very clean though, campground hosts clean it everyday.

Good secluded spot, with lots of foliage and privacy. However access may not be the best for 2WDs. Roughly 6 to 7km unsealed + rocky access road off the freeway

Very nice site just south of Perth. Great first stop. Nice open spots and good facilities. The volunteers working the campgrounds are a joy to meet, so are the nightly visitors in the for of bushy tail possums!

We love Martin's tank! Have been twice and love waking up surrounded by birds chirping. We also saw kangaroos the first time. There is two well maintained drop toilets and a clean kitchen with BBQs. Must bring your own drinking water however as the kitchen is only grey water. The camp is hosted by a camp host" which seem to change monthly however on both occasions our host was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back in the future."

Great spot for families, recommend booking across from each other if camping with two families as side by side sites are further away. Toilets are very clean and well kept. Rangers are lovely and good for a chat!Heaps of local wild life, possums at night and kangaroos come right up to the camp site during the day.
