Chelsea Bicentennial Park - Toilets
The toilets are located just inside the really well designed playground with very attractive landscaping and interesting architecture and street furniture. The toilet facilities are located in an interesting looking building with 6 seperate very large multisex rooms. Each individual cubicle has baby change facilities and is more than roomy enough for a parent to enter with a couple of kids and a pram, comfortably and securely. The facilities were reasonably clean when I visited and very well maintained. BBQ areas and lots of shaded benches, tables and seating for sitting and watching over your kids running around. Facilities for disabled in the playground and toilets. Lots of shade and interesting pathways to explore. The playground/toilets/BBQs etc are in a fenced around area with childproof gates for entry. Point of interest just at the entrance to the playground area is the Antique Marshalite" rotating clock face style traffic light at the pedestrian crossing in the carpark. Australian designed and built these were what did traffic control before modern style traffic lights."
