Whian Whian Public School

Whian Whian Public School is one of the BEST small schools around. Our son has excelled since starting at the school. A wonderful school community that also has the support of the local community . A truly beautiful school with vege and native gardens with frog ponds and huge school yard and play equipment to play in and on . The children have loads of contact with the other small schools in the local area through sports and social events , giving the children plenty of time to make friends out side their school but still within their community. The parents, family and local community are welcomed warmly at anytime to drop in and visit .We highly recommend Whian Whian Public school for your children above many of the other schools .

I attended Whian Whian from 2011(kinder) to 2013(end of year 2). The teachers especially Mr Condon and Ms Jodie supported me to reach my potential and helped me work around my disability so I could achieve my full potential. I was newly diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy when I started and this made me have to use a wheelchair for supportive seating in the classroom and sometimes for mobility in the playground. They truly made me feel included and even supported me when I got my first power wheelchair the skippi by allowing me to park it and join in on foot with the other kids. Now being in my final year of schooling I recognise how much attending a small school of 17 kids eventually when I left helped me start off my schooling journey on a positive note.Thank you so much Whian Whian with particular shout outs to Mr Condon and Ms Jodie.Sophie H
