Coolangatta Estate Homestead.

took a group of seniors for a wine tasting experience. Mitchell and the team were wonderful, knowledgeable, very entertaining. my clients love hearing about history and those technical aspects of any given experience and were absolutely rapt with Mitchell as he managed hosted our tasting. the grounds and buildings were also gorgeous. you couldn't beat that view, even on a drizzly day. they went to great length to ensure that our clients could access the venue safely with walkers, etc. overall wonderful place to stop if you're a wine lover and even if you're just tagging along

This is an amazing place to stay, situated on an estate, some interesting rooms for rent it was nice walking around looking at the history, wine tasting available, didn't get to eat there as we were visiting family over Christmas. We'll go back again , pics are of the servants' quarters we stayed in

The pie is exceptionally good. Wine is reasonable and not very expensive if you buy the bottle. Their scenery is beautiful and you can get some very good views of the River and the vineyards.

Great place to visit and top service with a genuine rural feel to it. I took my social group for wine tasting there and we were treated like royalty. You simply must place this venue on your list when visiting the Shoalhaven area.

A really good experience. Been before for wine tasting and loved it then. The steak was outstanding. The Reisling was wonderful. Love the old buildings. Good historical stories. Lovely views. The pecan pie deserves improvement. The baked camembert was perfect. The lady that ushered us was just lovely and understood that people like to do day trips from Shellharbour without having to make bookings. It great they found a table for us to enjoy their meals. Thank you for a great experience and we will be back.

We were so glad we made an impromptu stop at Coolangatta on a Sunny afternoon, the wine tasting and wines here were far superior to the others we tasted in region. Also they have ample seating space outside and a full restaurant menu.

We stayed for a few days quaint accommodation. Very friendly staff

We were fortunate to attend a wedding here this past weekend. Stayed in the Coachman's quarters. Sizeable enough although given the history of the place there was not much upkeep. Our door handle was falling out and the housekeeping of window ledges and those usual spots of build up were missed. The wine tasting was easy to organise and an outside area to enjoy but again the outdoor furniture was definitely weathered and harsh to use. A little disappointed that the wine at the wedding function itself wasn't the Estate's own wine but that of The Hunter Valley. In saying all that the location is very picturesque and the food was delicious. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Happy to go out of their way.
