Lowena Cafe and Accommodation
Bright, airy and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Caring and attentive host, Kevin looked after me very well. He organised taxi's for me, carried my bags up and down the stairs. Breakfast was generous with lots of coffee available. I would certainly recommend anyone to stay at Lowena Café and Accommodation. I will book again to stay here next time I stay in Hobart. A faultless experience. Our host, Kevin, could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. We had a lovely stay, which included a delicious breakfast cooked efficiently and tastefully by Kevin; espresso coffee and the morning papers. Thank you :)

Yes. So much yes. It was a cosy little place that feels like a home. Kevin, the owner, did everything in his power to make our stay as great as possible, he went above and beyond at every opportunity. We are so grateful!

Lowena has so many good reviews hmm..I beg to differ. Kevin is a jolly chinese operating this popular inn. Good breakfast & coffee etc.!Some of the rooms not so after spending time there and speaking to other guests not up to scratch and dont book the villa queen 'makeshift' room. No window ventilation gaps in walls and you can hear rats scurry about at night. The toaster was old and dirty and things were generally grotty. How this place gets past regulations is beyond me. Im sure some of these glowing reviews are dodgy.

Stayed a few days. Really loved the atmosphere at breakfast time. Kevin is so friendly and helpful. Room was a little noisy being on the main road, but not enough to be an issue.

Lowena Cafe and Accommodation
We stayed for a night at the Lowena Cafe and Accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality that Kevin provides. The amenities were fine and the kitchen is great! The cherry on top was that Kevin made sure that we started our day with a full belly and were sufficiently caffeinated.

Lowena Cafe and Accommodation
We have travelled all over the world, our host Kevin was born to do this. Fantastic breakfast, as many great cappuccinos as you want. A small walk to every where. Value for money excellent, Kevin is a very interesting person to talk to, very glad we stayed there.
