Great to visit around sunset with the windmills creating a great foreground. Must see if you down that way on Yorke Peninsula.

Nothing to write home about. Getting up close doesn't really add anything from the view from Edithburgh.

A fabulous picturesque place to enjoy the view of wind mills. The road towards this place is over a gravel road. It was so dusty too. But 2WD accessible so nothing to worry about having 4WD. I would say this is a hidden place in the map as the map doesn’t point to this location as a point of attraction.

Unexpected surprise! We visit here on the way to Innes National Park, and it was worth a bit of off road driving. Fatastic view of wind mills. You can go quite close to the mills from the observation plattform and can hear the humming sound of the rotor blades. Must visit place in Yorke Peninsula!!

If you have nothing to do and like the wind mills structure, you may come here have a look and take a picture. It's like completing the York Peninsula checklist.

10 minutes here will give you an appreciation of the size and engineering involved in construction. Worth stopping by if you are within 20 minutes of the location. Nice little information board and shelter.

To be fair, wind farms are not major tourist attractions, but this one has a neat little information booth with good sun and wind shade, close to the turbines. I learnt there is quite a bit of equipment in the pole on a couple of levels, not just a fan on a pole. And that Shazza and Dave had also visited before me.

It's a nice wind farm and you can get some great photos here. I didn't realise that when it opened in 2005 it was Australia's largest wind farm.
