I love Wattle Creek Equestrian Centre, a beautiful, & carefully maintained property, with the most gorgeous & well trained horses. The coaches are so friendly, & keen to share their knowledge, in or out of lessons, clearly they love their work. The use of log books to record what is covered in each lesson allows continuity if your regular coach is unavailable, & a very useful record.Wendy has created a truly welcoming atmosphere, with parents & riders encouraging each other, & sharing in the joy of spending time with horses.Emily manages the front of office, she runs a very tight operation, but is always smiling & happy to chat & give guidance. With a variety of Equestrian Australia courses, talented coaches, & educated horses, I would unreservedly encourage anyone to visit Wattle Creek.

First time. Poor communication in terms of arriving in advance. The place is very busy and you need to make sure you arrive well in advance to find parking as there is no obvious signs and a bit of a walk with small kids. The instructor was very kind and my toddler enjoyed it.

Good for really young beginner riders. Unfortunately not great for more intermediate and advanced riders. Made no progress. Coaches would ask what you have been doing lately and what you want to work on and just seem to do the complete opposite. Can't be bothered to teach so go back to basics so they don't have to try as hard in the lessons. Some coaches were rude and very condescending. Made no progress after roughly one and a half years.

Was a wonderful experience as my daughter's first lesson. A bit of a drive and started with a delay as the staff had to find the proper horse and equipment but the rest made one of her best memories as her teacher Alex, was great! Welcoming, patient, focused, supportive, happy and energetic. Made the whole experience so fun for my daughter and less stressful for me as a parent with her suppprtive teaching methods. Hope this level of service quality continues in our future lessons there and can't wait to see them after Christmas. Merry Christams Alex, Emily and Billy!

My 2 girls attended Wattle Creek for years, and they loved it. Coaches are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Horses are kept in great condition. Staff are friendly and approachable. A great place to learn how to ride. Highly recommend

My daughter's birthday was held here. The two staff members were so wonderful. Two hours, such a hot day, one for kids' riding, and one for showing around and teaching. I do appreciate the service and the staff, and the horse Peppa of course.

Wattle Creek is an excellent riding school. I started attending approximately one year ago after comparing (and attending lessons at) many of the other available options in the Brisbane region. The staff are incredibly professional, the horses are loved and looked after and the school offers awesome opportunities to extend all riders, regardless of ability or interest. As someone who once owned and rode their own horses, I always craved the ability to get in the saddle and go for it. Whilst many of the other riding schools would let you do this without checking your technique, Wendy and her coaches really took the time to make sure my skills were in check and that I was learning. It would have been so easy for them to let me free-ball around the arena and do whatever I want- and this would have made me happy, BUT it wouldn't have made me a better rider.Wattle Creek is an excellent school if you want to learn how to do it correctly with the best possible instruction there is. Moreover, because all the riders are being taught correctly and treat the horses with care, the horses are incredibly well looked after, loved and where rideability is concerned- of the highest calibre I have seen at a riding school.I love going to Wattle Creek for the monthly jump club (have formed quite an attachment to Flash- see pictures) and can't recommend the school enough- regardless of your riding background. Thanks Wendy!

It was my first lesson back in the saddle after 7 years therefore, I was a touch nervous about whether I would have forgotten a lot. However, my coach Kim made the experience highly enjoyable. She made me feel confident and happy with my ride on Atticus. My 4 year old daughter is also loving her lead rides every now and again, and constantly asks to go back!Thank you.
