Loved it - this was our first ever drive in cinema experience and it was awesome - the sound is played on speakers but is also broadcast on a FM frequency for your radio.

If you go to Coober Pedy try to line it up with a Saturday so you can attend the drive ins, awesome experience! Bring your own snacks or they have a candy bar there also. We loved this experience, you can find out what movies are on at the info centre or online. Fantastic way to spend a Saturday evening. Well done to the volunteers. You tune into the movie via radio or put your windows down as they have it on speakers. Watch the movie in the comfort of your own car and get food from the BBQ. Had a great time, glad we ended up staying over the weekend here in Coober Pedy, a hidden gem.

So lucky to have the Drive-In in Coober Pedy! For $20 you can take a car load for a good night out. Try doing that at other cinema's!
