Dine here often as we are local, and also recently had my 40th here. Was such a good night and guests raved about not only the quality of food but the amount. Service is always excellent. Such good value for money and we're are pretty lucky we have such a nice restaurant close by. Everything on the menu sounds delicious but we always stick to our favourites, calamari, steak, and pappardelle ragu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sosta Cucina in North Melbourne, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our work dinner took place on the 7th of June 2023, and I was thoroughly impressed.From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere and ambiance of Sosta Cucina were warm and welcoming. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting interior, perfect for an enjoyable evening. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, adding to the overall positive vibe.I must mention the outstanding service we received. Maurice and his team went above and beyond to ensure our evening was memorable. They rolled out the red carpet, attending to our every need with attentiveness and professionalism. Their hospitality truly elevated our dining experience.My overall experience at Sosta Cucina was exceptional. The combination of welcoming ambiance, top-notch service from Maurice and his staff, and the delectable food made it a night to remember. I wholeheartedly give Sosta Cucina a 5-star rating on Google. It's a must-visit restaurant in North Melbourne, and I can't wait to return.

Hidden gem. Very cosy with delicious meals. A range of meats and wines. The desserts were delicious too. The waiter was funny and add to the enjoyment.

We went to Sosta in October and it was brilliant. Food was exemplary. Returned on Christmas Eve and it was a pale imitation. Obviously the restaurant has changed hands and a new the kitchen has no idea. Pity really as we have been going to Sosta for many years and while it has had its up and downs this is definitely the nadir. Not recommended.In response to the response yes in fact we did write a glowing review (see Manxzilla above). Did you want a scene at your restaurant during service?

The service by our waiter (I forget his name but he was an older gentleman) was phenomenal, attentive but not overbearing and made sure we were happy with everything. The food was delicious and cooked very well, I had steak medium rare and it was perfect! We got tiramisu for dessert and it was delectable. Definitely a place to check out for lovely Italian food in North Melbourne.

A great little Italian Restaurant, been there for 16 years. The food was delicious. We all had 3 courses and lashings of red. Will definately go again

Service and taste of the food are amazing and will come back for sure. The entree portions are a big small but the mains size are good.Came with family and everybody was happy including the kids. They served them first and help us keep them happy and hence we all had a good time
