Chemist Warehouse Launceston

Came here for flu vaccine. A lady with Asian face wearing glass was very very rough and in a rush. She didn’t speak a word with us, and didn’t explain anything before taking a flu shot as a nurse. Just came and gave a shot, I have never experienced that kind of pain while having flu shot this was beyond worst, very very poor customer service and lack of experience nurse with full of attitude…I will never visit here again.

Well stocked and customer service came with a smile despite how busy the store was. Had a pleasant experience. Very impressed. Please keep up the good work, team.

I haven’t really had many problems with Chemist Warehouse, but the waiting times for 1 prescription to be filled is very long. The Chemist Warehouse opposite Kmart never had the anti-epileptic medication that I needed. Overall good service, just need to improve on any waiting times.

I love shopping there because there is always something I need on sale. The store is great. It is easy to find products, we can see how much we are saving. The staff is very polite. I am always checking out what they have so I can purchase when it is on sale.

Great prices, compared to other branded chains. Even better when they have sales on. The dispensary has excellent variety and good options for non-brand prescriptions substitutes. I sometimes find other branded outlets to have no stock of particular items but never had such issue with any Chemist Warehouse. They also have longer opening hours than most other pharmacies. Depending on locations, you can also get Flu vaccination, at very reasonable prices, that can be booked ahead or you can just walk in, if you dont mind a short wait. Most locations also offer medical certificate, which although appears a bit pricey compared to bulkbilling GP, most of the time works out to be about the same, even after medicare rebate. Refunds and exchange has never been any issues, even with larger purchases. Should always make sure you have the reciept handy for any exchange, refund or dispute, but at times they have also accepted credit card statement or transaction list. Staff are always helpful, polite and happy to check stock in their store or calling others to enquire on your behalf, or placing reservation or special orders. Never had to bother with their price guarantee" promise

I asked for Asprin and Codeine soluble, and was given plain Asprin which was not soluble. Went back and told them, no I'm after Asprin and Codeine and was given plain Asprin, and was given paracetamol with codeine. I was so fed up at that point that I took it anyway, bought Asprin from the supermarket, and had the 3 drug mix. If I had deranged LFTs, paracetamol is dangerous! This was really poor!

Always great prices - absolute bargains on everything from baby formula to men's perfume. Can't do better than Chemist Warehouse.
