Carson Cafe
Welcoming, clean, bright cafe with a barista who takes great care. Had a freshly-baked cinnamon scroll which was delicious. Water and glasses appeared as soon as we were sat at our table. Unobtrusive yet friendly service. Wonderful all round!

Best porridge ever!! I order porridge for breakfast whenever possible and the apple and rhubarb porridge that I had at Carson Cafe this morning was the best I have ever had. It was amazing and for the first time in a long time, it didn’t require additional milk and even with the small jug of honey, the porridge was not too sweet. It was also very filling and sadly I couldn’t finish it. I would certainly order this again.

Great food with amazing flavours. Thankful we were able to find a seat pretty quick! Coffee was great as well. Would come back for brunch in the future.

Had the eggs benedict and requested the pulled pork to be swapped for mushrooms to make it vegetarian. It looked and tasted great! I was initially charged $4 extra for the mushroom but it was refunded

Cute little cafe with a lovely owner, made to feel very welcome. Unfortunately had run out of filter when we got there, but the coffee was good, a little weak that day, but my partner says it's normally great! Delicious baked goods, the muffin was also really yummy and not too sweet like they normally are. Keen to go back and try some of the hot food.

We ditched the other cafes on our way to our airport and decided to visit Carson for its good reviews and outlook of shop. It didn’t disappoint. The interior of the cafe was as lovely as the exterior - unassuming, understated but promises warmth and calm. The eggs were fabulous. I think the best we have had in Melbourne. Thank you. The little touches didn’t go unseen. Only feedback is on our visit it was some metal music haha. Some piano jazz would be delightful to compliment your beautiful work. Thank you again!
