This pub is INCREDIBLE! I've been here a handful of times, each time I felt like I was having the best restaurant meal of my life. Seriously, best pies I've ever had, even better than Tooborac.The quality of every dish on our table has been unreal and the beer selection is great. Everyone I've brought here has loved it!Also the atmosphere here is so good, I really feel like I'm at home when I visit, its something about the dark rooms and smell of beer in the carpet that feels like I'm visiting a place from my past.My third point is that the staff are sooo lovely here. There's a couple of blokes on the bar, one with an accent and a younger one, and as soon as they greet me I feel like I'm talking to a friend!I haven't found a place like this since I used to hang around The Gold Mines Hotel in Bendigo about a decade back.Hats off to the legend who's running this place for giving me the experience of what a true pub is in my heart ❤️

This place is a gem. The staff are exceptional at their job, the food was great and the beer was cold.It’s a classic old pub with proper charm and service. how they should be.Was made to feel like a local even as an out of towner.

If there was ever a chance to give more than 5 stars then this place deserves it by far!!!Best atmosphere, best food and all meals were very affordably priced with an average price of $25!!! Most friendly and accommodating staff and honestly will be recommending it to everyone and anyone and me personally.....I am definitely going back!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing service when it was very busy, food was delicious. Saturday night was a blast! Such a happy, party vibe happening. Cocktails were incredible (which I didn’t my expect - Espresso Martini deeelish) and loved atmosphere/ambience. Well done & thank you. :)

Really nice and cozy pub. Ideal to spend lunch with friends with an amazing Sunday roast special. Also, beers on the tap get constantly updated with beers from all over Australia.

Really friendly but 3 stars as we didn’t stay to eat. I reserved a table for 6pm as they advertise a Sunday roast and we wanted a roast and specifically Googled places for a Sunday roast. Rebooked for 5pm and specifically asked about the roast. Arrive at 5, roast all sold out at lunchtime, even though it’s advertised on the dinner specials menu. Response was if you want a roast ask and they will keep some aside after lunch. If you’re going for roast on a Sunday night make sure to call early and ask for leftover lunch roast at dinner.

Very friendly staff. Great pub with several different spaces to enjoy including an outdoor area. Live music 3 pm onwards. We had the Sunday roast. Large serving with lots of gravy. The roast vegs were good but the beef was a little chewy. Enjoyed the meal nonetheless and would recommend.
