Been coming here for a few years now. Always had what I'm after. Will not be shopping here again. Will be going down the road instead as im not an employee so why should I be doing a cashier's job. Making every checkout self service is just pure greed. If you expect us to do your job we should get a shirt and an employee discount. Not happy

No express lane manned register. Instead you are ushered into the self serve registers while a staff member hurriedly scans your items . During this time you are brainwashed that 64% of customers want this and no one has lost their job. We as customers don't want our ears tagged and Then sent out into the paddock. Bring back the express lane please.

I'm annoyed that this Northpark Coles has all self-serve checkouts now. This is the store I do my major shopping at each week. It is not convenient for me to scan a full trolley load.My first jobs were at Woolworth and coles on the checkouts in and deli. I am concerned that many youths that are looking for their first jobs will miss out on opportunities because the greedy supermarkets seem to all be going down the self check out route.. I will avoid north park in the future.

Unfortunately, an employee named Ken displayed behaviour that I found to be inappropriate and disrespectful. While Najeeba, another employee, went out of her way to help us, Ken acted inappropriately by scolding her for assisting us. He used derogatory language and even pointed his finger at her. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and left us feeling infuriated. As a result, we made the decision to leave the store. I believe it is important to address and rectify instances of racism and disrespectful behaviour in any setting.

So they are ditching all the staff and making every single lane self checkout only. This was our backup coles because our local one shut down the deli section - but get stuffed coles. We'll be shopping at the foodland over the road which is a thousand times better. Better selection of products.

I was denied the scanning error policy by the store manager Rory Godsall and was told to leave the store.Appalling customer service, especially by a manager!

Appalling that this store is now with Self Serve checkouts. This is a community , and many of us will not shop here again. Where are all the young kids/workers that were working a few weeks ago?? now all replaced by self serve machines all for more profit!There were at least 3 elderly unhappy about this when I was there. You expect them to unload their trolleys and serve themselves?Bring back the checkouts and the workers. The 2 checkouts that are there at present will not always be staffed as seen in many other stores!

I went there last Thursday to find that ALL the checkouts were SELF SERVE. How insulting to long time customers, and in particular, the elderly. I will NEVER go there again, as they think so little of us. They make so much profit and shareholders are rewarded over customers, who are essentially the core of their business. They will loose a lot of business. If only I could score a ZERO.

A smaller store. Limited stock but always great sales on. They do stock sustainable options and have more vegan friendly items readily available in store now. The limited staff are generally friendly and helpful.Excited for the much needed store upgrade, watch this space. Hopefully the refit will introduce more fresher products.
