We paid for 2 small buckets but couldn't even fill one bucket. They are all super super small, and not tasty at all. I didn't even see one normal size mandrin today. I don't know how they let people in with that condition. Packed with people but no mandarins to pick... It was a good day out with a kid, but not recommended if you want reasonable mandarins.

Went this morning. Was told a 20 litre bucket full costs $20.Paid $40 for 2 buckets.Bucket is actually 10 litres and holds about 5 to 6 kg of fruit.Mandarins are very small and not very sweet. Not impressed.

It's a nice drive to Watkins farm, along the Hawkesbury river. Last 1.3 kms is through unpaved road, but it isn't that bad. There is ample space for parking. To enter the farm, every adult has to buy a bucket. It's $20 for big bucket and $10 for small. It's cash only, so carry $$$ with you. The toilet was probably built recently and was clean. There were also farm animals which you can feed by paying $1.Note: You won't get anything to eat there. Pack your own food if you plan to go there around lunch time.Overall, it's a good experience for the kids to pick mandarin and run around.

It was very good. You can get 50 mandarins for $10 if you want. You just need to buy a $10 small bucket or a $20 large bucket if you are an adult because it is mandatory.

Excellent place for easy access to Mandarin picking, Huge amounts of fruits, and many rows. Pleasant view of driving towards the farm. There is no internet reception, though, and only cash payment. No eftpos

I have been to this farm for years. But this year is really disappointed. Mandarin are very small and sour, can't eat at all. They should look after their trees, not just try to make more money. We paid for 2 large bucket but can't even fill one up.will not come back next year!

I visited this farm a few years back and it was okay. This year was very disappointing.Staff were very rude, at reception and at the entry gate. The farm opened way too early, mandarins on the trees are extremely small and sour, not properly grown yet. The bucket pricing was dramatically higher than last time (I understand they had flooding last year but that doesn't mean doubling up the prices this year!). They advertised to have oranges, lemons, and mandarins, yet only mandarins trees were found (not sure if I didn't search enough, maybe). And unlike other farms, they have a no-eating from trees policy, which is kinda weird as other farms would allow that and it makes you try before you get fruits from specific trees. And to make the experience worse, it was a nightmare trying to get out of the parking area with no one to direct cars, and not enough parking spaces for incoming customers who piled up at the entry and driveways unguided and jamming leaving customers!Overall experience was very bad. Would not go there again nor recommend it to anyone, at least not this year (if they improve later on).

Magnificent citrus farm nestled above the Hawkesbury River. Great variety of mandarins, lemons and limes when in season; cash only but very inexpensive and a fun family day trip , often very busy , so plan to go early and wear shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.

A great little place for a weekend outing. We called the staff and they were great in advising us before hand about the process. This place was packed, around 50+cars.Driving via singleton road is the best option, lots of Mandarins to pick from. Plenty for everyone
