Went in at 7.40pm to order hot chips. The website says 8pm close!. Girl says we aren't taking anymore orders cause it's been busy.. I said you're either in business to make money or not. She didn't even ask what it was I was going to order.. 2 scoops of hot chips. Poor staff must've been in a hurry to leave. Get staff that will make you money!! Never coming back here. USELESS!

Really need to be more consistent in their opening hours on weekends. Google search says 10, yet it’s 10.44 and still not open. No signage to say on holidays or anything on the door… so a bit disappointed… have watched about a dozen or more people walk away in this time and even during the week before 8am - the previous owners were always open at 7am - and were always busy, these guys would be losing out on so much money not being open

The customer is consistently terrible (with the exception of one small, older lady with dark hair and glasses). Staff stand behind the counter, talking and don’t even acknowledge you until they have finished their conversation. Three times the staff haven’t given me the right change, handing out between $6-$4 less than they should have. I’m starting to wonder if it is in fact accidental. I asked to purchase a potato scallop that I saw had freshly been cooked and put in the hot box. The young girl serving me refused to sell it to me stating “you can’t have it until the old ones are sold first”.The battered fish is ALWAYS mush and the overall appearance of the store is dirty and grungy. No more chances for this place.

Bought 1.4kg of chips (weights and prices are on the menu board), received a pretty small bag of chips. Weighed when we got home and it was under 900g. Food tasted great. Place is clean

We've ordered food here on Uber Eats twice now and both times we've enjoyed all the food. We've had the chips, potato gems, gravy, dagwood dog, lasagne topper and chicken gravy roll.

The food was actually pretty good, but there was a bone in the chicken burger that almost killed me. I like to live dangerously I guess -- so they still get three stars.

New to this store. Been twice so far, both times same day. Found place through a client who loves their B&E rolls, and after taking them I tried it for myself, plus their F&C. Reminds me of the F&C I had growing up as a child. Nothing complex. Simple and tasty fish and chips. Great on its own but better with lemon and sauce. Crumb falls off to wrap around chips (love doing that btw). Absolutely amazing, and will be back! Probably tonight!

Orderd a burger...last call for burgers is 7.30....it was bang on 7.30....they said noI said it's just time now....I said get the cook...she came out and said it's 7.31....seriously....was 7.30 when I ordered it....we already put water on it to clean it. Obviously made too much money. Cost them $50. And a dozen or more customers
