Racecourse Road Dental & Orthodontics

I took my mother to Racecourse Road Dental earlier in the year for a check up and I must say it is by far one of the most outstanding practices I’ve been to. Starting with the layout and ambience, the extremely pleasant receptionists to the reliable expertise and clarity of Dr Cliff Steven, I would recommend Racecourse Road to anyone in need of Dental Care.

Edit as response to the reply:Yes I received a phone call to come in and discuss - I was not interested in doing so anymore. The time to discuss this in detail was when I booked in & came in for the consultation- Why would I waste my time again & bring in my daughter for another discussion? The dentist kept dismissing my questions from the start to the end. That was his time. I would not want to engage with a medical practitioner with such an unprofessional attitude.They were just worried about the bad review and were hoping to turn things around. And confirmed that we were squeezed in as it was a busy time, and that wouldve perhaps explained the hurry Dr Steven was in- But still it is not excusable. So I would definitely not be recommending him.The question is not about holistic or not- it is attitude and communication that was lacking. Makes one wonder if all the recent reviews are even genuine.Original:Dr Steven was in a hurry to see next patient without addressing my concerns.Lack of communication skills & empathy.I wanted a particular filling for my daughter & was very clear from the start. This should've been discussed properly before starting the procedures. I was simply concerned - not the kind of dentist you can ask questions to and not approachable at all.Used the local anesthetic on my daughter before telling me he cannot and does not have the kind of filling I was requesting.Bit too late!Also I wanted to know how close the cavity was to the nerve, & kept asking, but again this was not addressed till the end of the consultation (if you can call it that) - something that should've been done at the start. And if it was, and there was proper communication, we would've known that he cannot provide that kind of filling we preferred, we would've chosen not to go ahead & inject her unnecessarily.Every other dentist I've consulted before discusses in detail what is actually going on, even more so on a child's tooth.My daughter's 9 yrs old, not a baby - I needed to communicate to her what was going to happen rather than tricking her into something.Very unprofessional attitude & refused to look at the history of our previous visit when I insisted saying he has another patient waiting. Basically didnt answer any of my questions from the start of the visit"Extremely poor communication skills with children & parents.Bit more respect & a non-judgemental attitude towards different path ways that people choose

Had a terrible experience at another dentist several years ago and ever since I hated going. Promised myself I would never go see another dentist again until one day I was convinced to visit Racecourse Road Dental by a friend. From the first day I visited this office I’ve felt as though I’ve been cared for and treated like family. I can honestly say I’ve never met such a sincere and honest dentist like Cliff. It’s very evident that professionalism and A grade customer service really flow from the top down and it speaks absolute volume. I’ve absolutely loved every experience and they have completely changed my mind. Prices are reasonable and the service is out of this world! You don’t need another dentist when you’ve got Racecourse Road Dental.

This family run Dental Practise is absolutely fantastic! Dr Cliff and his team are very patient, thorough and attentive. After years of neglect I found I needed quite a bit of work done.My experience at Racecourse Road Dental I found that this team are excellent in prioritising the jobs that needed to be addressed first, and painlessly getting it done. They have incorporated all the latest dental technology and techniques into their “playbook”Making my journey quick and effortless.I would highly recommend to anyone.

When one goes to a dentist, esp. one who you don't know, anxiety rides high with mixed expectations. Well, with Dr. Cliff & his competent staff, all these fears were put to rest. I now look forward to smiling without any inhibitions & more. Keep up the good work, Dr. Cliff and staff!!

Dr Cliff Steven is a brilliant Dentist. I visited with a serious tooth ache and his professional skills and calm manner saved my tooth.The staff provided a caring and helpful approach toward my situation.The facilities are of the highest standards which provide a calm and relaxing environment.I highly recommend Racecourse Road Dental, I have finally found a Dental Practice which I have confidence in being looked after.

I am flying from Alice Springs to Brisbane just to see Dr Steven each time.I would not see any other dentist after the most professional, caring and gentle treatment I receive every time.From the moment I walked into the dental surgery the first time I was impressed with the attention to detail, it is modern, clean and equipped with state of the art technology.I highly recommend Dr Steven to anyone.

I honestly can't thank the team at racecourse road dental enough for the help they've given me over the last few weeks.They were extremely accommodating and took me in on short notice after i had been suffering some serious pain in one of my back molars, which as a result has saved me from a lot of grief.Being my first root canal I was feeling a bit nervous, but Cliff was extremely friendly and calming as he carefully repaired my tooth.To my surprise the procedure itself was virtually painless, which was further assisted by Cliff taking the time to explain the process to me - keeping both me well informed whilst reassuring me that I was in safe hands.Ingrid was also very friendly at the desk and took care in checking in to see how I was going with everything, ensuring that my visit was a pleasant experience from start to finish.It's been a few weeks since I the procedure and i am very pleased to be able to say my tooth is feeling strong and pain free. Its safe to say that racecourse road dental have earned themselves a new dental patient and I look forward to seeing the team for my regular check ups moving forward!
