Safety Beach Golf Club

We have regularly visited this club as a family, living so close and really wanting to support our local. The place has had various owners over the past 8 years and whilst the food has always been about 3 stars, the new owners have really bought the place down. A 10 year old could knock up a better menu on a typewriter. Such a shame as the golf and facilities are great. I don’t usually bother with reviews unless they are positive, but the owner of the main restaurant has pushed me on. A long story short, after more than 15 of my family had dined, the owner was extremely rude to my 15 year old just for trying to get a $2 coin refunded that he lost inside the pool table. He presumed he was being dishonest and was rude to his Dad also when he came to his rescue. Needless to say, we will not return until the next owners take over, which I suspect will not be too long now.

Great club! Not an easy course, narrow in sections, water, trees! A Challenge! Has a brilliant Women's Comp and hard working Committee.

Fairways went holding up well on a wet day, but the fire was on at the 19th. Course feels like it's been progressively sold off for development of houses so there's some navigating through estates to get to the next hole.

Lovely scenery lots of space sadly wish I had larger vehicle space as I couldn't find any as I'm depressed to take 5 car park spaces from my vehicle otherwise seems very lovely nice scenery and planting around the car park

I was driving on M11 towards City and I saw a golf ball bounced in front of my car. This is really dangerous and could kill someone. Please build some protection stuff along the highway. Please do it before real tragedy happens.

Didn't play golf but course looks great!

Course was wet. Not a walking course as there are large distances between the majority of tees as they wind through the houses surrounding the course. You will need a golf buggy. Most holes are flat with little or no challenges between tee and green. The back nine is more challenging with a par 3 over the lake a good hole. Overall a reasonable course but more in the vein of a public course quality than a members one.

Good public course, it's a fair walk as it winds through the housing estate.Pitty to see the name change to (The Valley) nice course.
