I feel kinda bad giving this super popular place 2 stars, but this is based on our experience.We popped by post dinner to partake in some drinks and nibbles. The place was busy, but the friendly fellow who greeted us found us a spot inside the back near the bar.Then another person who was our main server us could have been new. She seemed a bit lost and confused. We ordered a few small bites and drinks. We wanted to have more drinks, but as it took ages for someone to check in and ask after our second round, we decided against it.Everyone seemed busy but not always paying attention. We finally got the attention of the initial guy who welcomed us and asked for the bill. To our surprise, the bill had a few extra charges, nearly over $100 extra worth! When I questioned this, they only then realised they accidentally added the wines from the table next to us onto our bill.They did apologise and removed it, but they didn't seem to be fussed about the mistake.The drinks and food were just OK too. All in all, it was a disappointing experience. It could have been an off night, but we didn't really enjoy ourselves

I cannot recommend this joint enough, the atmosphere is terrific and drinks are fantastic, the bartenders know how to make you what you need and Justin knows how to make you not want to leave. Don’t matter the vibe your looking for these guys will take care of you. The highest praise to Justin for making us Brisbane boys feel comfortable in the big city, making us feel seen and heard and satiated. Cannot recommend enough.

This is my new favourite place! I went here for the first time last night and was so impressed. Everything about it is 5 stars. Creative cocktails, genuinely cool vibe without being pretentious, great service and simply yummy food. If I could give it more stars I would. Highly recommended!

Best spot. The family and I came in on a quiet Sunday and played cards for 2 hours. We had delicious food and great chats with the owner who knew how to make a delicious cocktail. Ended the night with old school arcade games by the fire. Really nice night!

We headed here for drinks for my friends hens night. We booked this place in advance and I appreciate how the owner emailed us to follow up on the booking.Although, we just planned on drinking - I am SO GLAD we ate as well - the cheese jaffle was delicious. All the ladies loved their food and drinks as well. The staff made great recommendations and were very friendlyAmbience was perfect for our night - chill and cosy.

Justin, Louka and their team of hospitality guns make each visit to Dean's Lounge a truly memorable one. My last visit was for my very own birthday celebration and they let our big group of party peeps relax into the space like it was our very own garden terrace, then provided us outstanding service the entire night long. The cocktails are cool, the wine list is diverse, the tunes are iconic and this venue is officially one of my very favourite in Sydney. I should also mention the snacks. Yum! The mac and cheese jaffle is a thing of beauty. Thank you, and see you again soon.

This is an incredible place! My partner and I decided to go for cocktails after dinner and tried walking in. We were lucky to get a table as this place was packed! Vibrant, friendly environment, funky vibe with great cocktails and service. The waitress showed us this table that was a screen with fun games like pac-man and we played all night long for free. I highly recommend this place!

We booked out Dean’s Lounge for a private event with about 65 people and it was fantastic. So many of our guests raved about the venue - from the delicious food and drinks to the friendly service and the fun retro vibe. The Dean’s Lounge team were exceptional from start to finish. Louka helped us organise our food and drinks options ahead of time and was also there in person running the venue on the night. Throughout the event the team checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t praise the Dean’s Lounge team enough - they were fantastic.

Amazing place, would recommend to anyone.Got my favourite dessert, sticky date pudding - which was actually prepared perfection.Along with that and the time the bar staff took to make the perfect drink down to our palette’s craving. This was an unmissable experience and a hidden gem of Sydney. Thanks guys and keep up that amazing vibe
