Wallaby Ridge Retreat

Wallaby Ridge Retreat is far enough away from the busyness of the Gold Coast and city life yet close enough to the convenience of big city services. The property is massive and is connected to a National Park. Beautiful Nature tranquility and home away from home like accommodation allowed me to relax and unwind from the stresses life has been dishing out.Dan (the Manager) was very welcoming and professional and played a big part in making my experience at the retreat a positive one.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful location with a good amount of Nature to Relax and Unwind from Life.Matt

Beautiful peaceful location. Stunning sunset while sitting in the outdoor heated spa enjoying a lovely local wine. Delicious self cook breakfast each morning and very comfy bed. Even the magpies sung a song, as if on cue. Our host Robyn was so friendly and helpful. Definitely on our return list

A hidden gem that is a delightful surprise.A stuff up in the booking on my part and the words I told you so!" Ringing in my ears from my girlfriend made me somewhat anxious at what I booked. Went in November. Didn’t stay long enough. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The linen was the most comfortable sheets I’ve ever felt. The views from the cabin were as follows. The spa and pool were serene. Lives up to the name with all the wallabies! Hope to come back some day.

What can I say? I just wanted to thank you for the most amazing stay at Wallaby Ridge Retreat.  From the moment you welcomed us  to when we checked out, we knew we were staying somewhere special.  The location is stunning,  the apartments are so well thought out with so many extras (especially love the nightlight in the bathroom!), the breakfast basket is so thoughtful. We just loved sitting on the terrace enjoying those extraordinary views, listening to bird song and watching the wallabies. But the stand out part of Wallaby Ridge is YOU! Your love for what you do, the local area and Australia is just wonderful and, as someone who works in hospitality, cannot be faked. You make guests feel so welcome and clearly nothing is too much trouble.  We just know we won't stay anywhere as memorable on the rest of our trip.So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Stayed here with a friend over the Easter Long Weekend. Coming from Sydney it was the perfect country getaway. The check in process was easy with the caretaker (Dan) welcoming us and settling us into the cottage. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy.For location, the accomodation is also close to Tamborine Mountain and reasonably convenient drive to the other tourist attractions such as Springbrook National Park and the themeparks. Being able to see the wallabies, using the spa and pool during the sunset golden hours was amazing.

5 stars are not enough to give justice to this great hidden gem in the heart of Mt Tamborine.Do yourself a favour and pay a visit to Dan and his Team, you won’t regret it at all.The calm, relaxing vibes of this place literally wash the everyday stress away.Hanging by the pool or getting massaged by the outdoor spa is just a little treat compared to the cleanliness, the peace and the superb views you can enjoy from this place.A glass of wine and some cheese on the balcony made it for the most glorious sunsets we witnessed, surrounded by nature and lots of local fauna like kookaburra and lots of wallabies.The closest town, Canungra, is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy the most delicious pies ever!10 out of 10, no faults all around and great, not intrusive service for the best getaway I remember in many years!Well done guys, I will see you again soon!

Fabulous! Great welcome. Stunning views. Comfortable vibe. Well equipped and generous breakfast provided. Excellent kitchen. We chose the older units for the view and extra spaciousness and were certainly not disappointed. The layout is nicer than the pictures. Great hot tub for sunsets. Easy drive to TM. Dan is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

Have to give a big shoutout to Dan who looked after us and made sure we had an amazing stay here!Location was peaceful and relaxing, and the cottage we stayed in was immaculate - fresh sheets, cosy beds and clean to a t.Enjoyed seeing the view we had from the retreat all the wallabies on the grounds!

Very quiet.Like going to your Grandma's place (decor) but 10 times better.Everything works, windows and sliding doors are ultra clean inside the wells and slide and close smoothly and quietly.Unbelievable sunset views and moonset views from lying in the king bed.Wood fireplace makes it homey.Lovely hosts.King bed was comfortable and sheets elegant.Not on Tamborine Mountain.The place is not necessarily what you expect but everything your unconscious body needs to relax.Stay 2 or 3 nights to allow your body to benefit.I would definitely stay again.
