An amazing memorial to all those that made the ultimate sacrifice in battle, the bridge of remembrance installed across the Highway restoring the connection once again with the soldiers memorial walk on the domain. A beautiful place to hang out and relax, fly a kite or take a walk with breathtaking views of the water, city, Mt Wellington and the Tasman bridge.

Outstanding setting that gives you nice views of the city, and the river. There will probably be few, if any, visitors to this place so enjoy the tranquility of the area. The War Memorials are a touching tribute, and add to the whole Memorial experience. Even some of the trees south of the cenotaph are memorials to people and battles in Australia's history. Overall, this is one of the best places in all of Hobart in my opinion.

A lovely walk to the Cenotaph and very soothing views. You can park you car near Botanical garden and walk about 15 minutes through the remeberance garden or park in city and walk through the under-street roundabout through the rose garden (these are beautiful and peaceful) across the bridge. There's no restroom around but plent open space for kids to play or just lesure around. I love the forever-lit flame, just so peaceful. Also you will get a aesthetic view of the Tasman bridge in all its glory.

A hidden gem and doesn't turn up on most searches ! A war memorial with historical significance, the place has some really good views of the waterfront as well as the Tasman bridge!

Awesome war memorial with fantastic views at the great Tasman bridgeThis memorial is very close to the cbd of Hobart so it’s a good thing to go check out while visiting. Be sure to take a walk over the newly constructed bridge to have a look at the traffic passing underneath you

Really filthy, which is understandable in a way due to the amount of people who frequent the area at night, but still very unfortunate for such an important monument. A shame the council can't clean it more often.

I went here for the 2022 NYE fireworks display. It did not disappoint! Spectacular views for the 20 minute display. The car drivers were very courteous & kind as hundreds of vehicles exited en mass. Highly recommended!

A visit to the Cenotaph in Hobart with my horse Coda is a unique experience. Standing here in silence to remember our fallen is a humbling experience. The pristine work that has put into this site is truly wonderful but at the same time respectful.Lest we forget those who have sacrificed themselves so that others may live in a world more peaceful & free. The Bridge of Remembrance a pathway to the queens Domain and Rose Garden from the Cenotaph, worth a visit.Worthy of 5 stars
