Just a park, with gum trees and rough ground. Too much slope for a game of cricket or socker.

It's nice to see a park, with lots of trees, the kids need places to play and let there Imagination run wild.I often see the children and their parents talking and showing the Newport care, alot of people don't do thatThere are also birds here, it can be quite a shock to find a kookaburra staring at you, then there are the rainbow lorekettes, not sure what they were fighting over but they ended up in they bark by the slide, there is limited parking here, which is the only bummer. The pedestrian crossing next to the disabled spot is not a parking space, if there are not any spaces in the park then there's usually room down the street. There is a small memorial of the soliders who gave there lives for our freedom, for that we thank them, the hill gets steeper each dayNo one should feel unsafe when using the road especially the school kidsWhat worries me is the lack of respect drivers have towards the children, parents teachers lolipop and other forms of authority rangers and police.drivers needs to be aware that verbal abuse including threats are harassment and telling lies to lollipop, council and police carries fines of $500 per offence and five demerit pointsPlease everyone when u see anyone in authority that includes postie do not show disrespect, cos karma like the police have a way of catching up with u no one should look down there noses at anyone doing a hazardous job abuse is not okThe legal limit in school zone time is 40k

Shaded by tall eucalyptus trees this park is breezy and chilled even in the summer. It's old fashioned, kind of the type these were like 30 or more years ago but except for the broken horse everything else is fine and functional. It's big in size but not too many facilities, no rubber it's sand but not sand pit. Has facilities for young and older kids.
