I have been able to call IDS a dance home for 21 years! This dance school has always encouraged diversity and dynamic dance students, teaching styles ranging from Bharathanatym to Bollywood to Hip hop and Kuthu. You get the both worlds with discipline and structure as well as great friendships, and a whole lot of fun! I would highly recommend to students of any age :)

I have been a teacher at IDS for the past 5 years and the experience and learning has been incredible. Me as a teacher had been able to express my imagination and also share my knowledge with full freedom and that has helped to bring out the best in me as a teacher and a dancer.IDS is a wonderful dance community and I am very glad to be a part of it.

My three daughters have been attending IDS for several years now and they have benefitted hugely from this experience in several ways.Firstly they have learned many different dance styles accurately - both Indian dances (Bollywood, Bharathanatyam etc) and Western dance styles (hip hop, acro etc) and they have had such fun in the process - this is mainly due to the excellent quality and standards of their very talented teachers - and they have had such fun in the process.Secondly they have made many life long friends who share a common interest and thirdly they have gained so much self confidence by being given several opportunities to perform in front of large audiences that they have no hesitation in doing so.But perhaps the best thing about IDS is that IDS is like an extended family where everyone feels that they belong and where there is an emphasis on having fun rather than getting too serious about what they are doing - and this is what makes the IDS dance school different from the rest.I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Miss Janani's IDS school to anyone considering giving their kids an opportunity to learn Indian and Western Dance styles in the most fun and enjoyable way!
