Was able to check-in early and book on the spot. The cabin was equipped with a comfy bed, lounge and had all the homeware you need. The place was clean, everything operated properly an friendly staff. The bottle-o was close and convenient.

Stayed here when we got caught in the floods. Staff were amazing, couldn’t help us enough. Rooms were a bit old, but clean, comfortable beds and pillows, great shower. Food was fantastic. We even got a phone call to tell us the highway was open and we could get home. Appreciate everything the staff did. Keep up the great work.

Had a great meal here we both had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was great no soggy crumbs and cooked to perfection we sat outside and enjoyed the view and both of us commented on the friendly atmosphere and service nothing was to much trouble for them

Friendly service from all the staff and delicious food stands out the most from the Queens Beach Hotel. It has that good old Qld pub vibe and in close proximity to a fantastic beach.I highly recommend staying for a night or two, have a good feed, go for a swim and check out the township of Bowen.

Had lunch here on Sunday and after placing our order (I chose 1 of the Specials) and enjoying our drinks, I was advised that the special had sold out the evening prior.Asked what I would like in its place by the very apologetic and accommodating staff, I replied Surprise me!"What arrived a short while later was one of the best meals I have had in years - and I dine out a LOT as i live in Airlie. This meal (and staff) was so good that Im writing a review which is not something I usually do.Crispy skin pan fried Barramundi on a salsa bed - which consisted of avocado

Ordered and paid for our meal on their ridiculous app. Menu limited to standard pub grub. After ordering we walked to the souless and empty restaurant, to be told it was shut and anyway our food was at the table we ordered at... ( weren't told this) this was a table in the middle of the bar area, which was like eating in the middle of a betting shop! The food came out about 10 minutes after ordering.hmmmm.I had a lukewarm pasta, very salty. My partner, had the Australian pie.Probably one of the worst food experiences ever! Meal disgusting, atmosphere zero. Wish we had not gone. Both felt sick after.

Went for lunch. Certainly heaps of space and tables inside. Food was delish although a very expensive small piece of Barra, crispy skin nice. The salad was yumo, so much so that I googled how to make it when I got home. 3 stars cos my lady left hungry.

Needs a lot of work to fix the exterior of the buildings. Inside the room was badly aged. The veneer had fallen off of most of the furniture and the bathroom drain smelt like sewage. Location is amazing. Bar was well visited and great service
