Charters Towers Police Station

We were almost run off the road by an ambulance, we went to the police station with our dash cam footage. The Sargent had no interest in collecting the evidence and stated “we are not the USB store” . The police did not even bother to view our footage. We were told the police were too busy to see us and but will call us. If my partner did not have defensive driver training we would be dead, they would of been busy with a triple fatality. I also suggest you train your ASO’s to not tell people that ambulances do have the right of way and are allowed to travel 100kms an hour on the wrong side of a highway. Ambulances do not have the right to drive in an unsafe manner and put other road users at risk.
