Lecturers are great and easy to get along with but staff never have any idea on whats going on. There were a whole bunch of changes that have taken place over the last couple of years that have essentially screwed the campus over and during this time, when students were confused and needed help, the staff who were in charge of these things had either moved on or were inundated by confused students and hardly ever available to help. They got rid of the only art store on campus much to the students disgust and replaced in with more offices?? Really a dumb idea. Classes just completely changed and things that were available in previous years, got completely taken away, so our grade had pretty much been cheated out of what we had expected to do. The website and enrolment is an absolute nightmare! There were classes to choose from that were no longer available and you had to search for the class via the course code only and even that sometimes didn't work.We weren't given any real assistance on this and expected to work it out ourselves. Staff were also confused about this and unable to help the best of times. As or equipment, on a number of occasions we were asked to purchase costly items for the next weeks class and we were not provided with a equipment list at the start of the year (or the list we had was extremely basic and didn't have anything on it that was required). This made it very hard to have what we needed as the equipment hire was often booked out during these times and we were just expected to essentially cough up the money for the equipment. Booking equipment was always a pain in the a** too. A number of occasions me or my friends booked lenses or flash that were either missing batteries or the lease motor was broken. Really hard to complete an assignment without the proper equipment and our tutors were not sympathetic about this at all. I could honestly rant forever on why I am so frustrated I wasted both my time and money on this place. I had been told very positive things about this place from people who had attended it in previous years and thats why I enrolled. I don't think it is anything like it used to be though and thats a real shame.

This one of two inner city University Art Museums is often ground breaking in its innovation, particularly its exhibition installation. My last visit for Archie Moore's whole of gallery take over was fatally engrossing.

The worst experience of my life. As an international student staff doesn't care or bother to help at all and is rather rude and disrespectful despite the fact that we are basically paying their wages and the overall content is poor. Absolute waste of money and time.
