Hannah was very helpful. She listened to my likes and dislikes and suggested dresses based on that. She even gave guidance and feedback on the types of gowns and there features that were most flattering on my figure. She did not pressure sale but was happy to give timeframes from manufacture and alterations. Would recommend. Wonderful experience.

Started looking for a wedding dress two weeks ago. After having a bad experience elsewhere, coming here was the complete opposite experence!Friendly staff greeting us on arrival, making me and my best friend feel welcomed, offering us some bubbly and me having fun trying on dresses I wanted to try on.Yesterday me and my soon to be MIL went back and I showed her the three dresses I liked previously. Those dresses got a no from me right away as they I wasn't feeling it this time around as last time.Hannah was amazing! She listened to me and asked what aspects I loved and hated about the dresses I liked previously. With all the information She FOUND me the PERFECT dress I LOVE!

My time at Illawarra Bridal & Formal was absolutely fantastic. It was the first wedding dress store I had been too since recently becoming engaged and I felt so comfortable in the shop and especially felt comfortable with Rebecca who helped me. Rebecca was so helpful, insightful, honest and kind. If I didn’t like something she said take it off, and others that I liked or were unsure about she kept me in the dress for as long as I wanted and encouraged me to walk around in it. I didn’t feel rushed, or pressured at any time and Rebecca was so friendly. I strongly recommend brides to go to Illawarra Bridal & Formal.

Highly would not recommend! Ordered my bridesmaid dress 1 size way too big & looks horrendous! Dress maker measured the dress vs the measurements that were given and way out. Told it was my issue and will have to pay for alternations of the Tania Olsen dress. A $500 dress is now a $1000.Customer service and accuracy not a strong point!

Highly recommend this store for all things Bridal in the Illawarra. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout your appointment. The range of dresses are stunning and I cannot thank the team enough for such an incredible appointment experience!

Had a wonderful experience at the Illawarra Wedding Centre when searching for a gown & suit for a friend's formal engagement party. They carry a beautiful range of gowns from small sizes to + in both bridal & formal wear. The advise, service & warm welcome made the moment exciting & special. Would definitely highly recommend the Illawarra Wedding Centre xx

Absolutely amazing experience. Staff were so helpful, picking out dresses for my style and outside my comfort zone. Great atmosphere, intimate setting. So happy with the appointment!

Illawarra Bridal and the consultants are wonderful. Rebecca was genuine, warm, wonderful to speak to and so helpful. She knew her dresses, and was able to fi d me my perfect dress.I felt warm and welcomed and heard but also the advise given was priceless.Would highly recommend to any bride looking for her to try here. The team are amazing and the selection to try on is also amazing.

Tina was so lovely, friendly, fun, patient and knowledgeable. She worked with what I liked and made some very good suggestions on how to tweak it even more to suit me. A good range of boho-style dresses which was what I was after. Definitely a great experience and worth a visit!

Unfortunately my experience shopping at this store was not great.We had an appointment for 11:30 for 5 of us (with the bride to be) to pick out bridesmaid dresses.After standing in the shop for 15 minutes without acknowledgement a member of staff asked us if we needed help at 11:45.We explained we were there for our 11:30 appointment and she pointed us in the direction of the bridesmaid dresses and said we have these to choose from with these colour swatches, and left us to our devices.Towards the end as we were walking out she then asked us if we wanted to order anything. We said we still needed 1 more Bridesmaid to come and try dresses/ styles but gave a list of the type and colour we were leaning towards. The whole time the staff member was asking us about our choices to add to their system, she did not make eye contact, was not engaging and made us feel like an inconvenience in the store. While I know the bread and butter of the store is likely selling wedding dresses as they are a higher price point, with a bridal party of 6 spending $400 each you would think this would warrant some form of customer service and guidance.The experience was a big let down and left not only us but the bride feeling deflated. This is meant to be an exciting time for the bride and her closest and it just felt like we were not welcome. Unfortunately we won't be back to place an order due to this.
