Makini Cleaning

We used Makini for our end of lease clean who were recommended by our real estate and we couldn't have been happier, my husband thought they had replaced the kitchen cupboards the place was so clean! We got every penny of our bond and hadn't seen the place so clean! Would highly recommend. Communication and timing was spot on ;-)

I had a bond clean booked in with Leonard from Makini (Clean Oven) and my brother, who is also moving, told me he had received a good quote from another company. I called this company and they offered a great deal so I text Leonard to ask if he’d like to match it. He said no, they “don’t compete with the cheapest quotes.” I wrote back “fair enough, I respect that. Let’s stick with the booking” and received no response. A few hours later I text again asking to confirm the time of arrival. No response.I woke up the next morning with a cancellation email in my inbox! Apparently Leonard had become offended that a customer dare to ask about a price match and his way of handling it was to stop replying to texts and cancel the clean at short notice. What an absolutely disgraceful way to conduct business and treat customers. Although I (fortunately) never got to experience the clean, I can only imagine how bad the service would have been based on this experience even before the fact.In addition, I almost had to beg for the confirmation email initially, he never answered the phone and was very slow to respond to texts. There are plenty of cleaners out there, avoid this one.
