polytec Head Office

Brand new kitchen and it looks like an old worn out kitchen.. used black woodmatt.. cleaning off finger marks etc leaves smears that no matter what you do are present ongoing.. I asked my cabinet maker to find a solution.. because I had followed the cleaning guide from POLYTEC.Polytec should hang their heads in shame.. I went on to discover that POLYTEC know this issue exists and I will tell you why..In their marketing photos of this product.. the shot is taken from a few meters back and slightly blurred.. my cabinet maker showed it to me.. but if you enlarge the shot it shows up the hideous smears.. well you can just imagine my surprise... So I looked over all their marketing blurb to see if they mentioned it anywhere.. nope they don't. .. and to be fair to consumers they should.. because I wouldn't have selected it in a pink fit!!!!I like everything looking like it should..So then I lodged a review on product review website where POLYTEC get to respond to complaints.. and the responder keeps writing back about finger prints.. I wrote back.. hey.. its not just finger marks etc its the smears.. silence from POLYTEC responder for a few days then writes exactly the same reply.. have a look at it at product review.com.au..Folks beware of polytec.Really be careful because they shirk responsibilityIts definitely buyer beware.Oh and.. POLYTEC says they have samples so you can make an informed decision.. theres no way anyone would know from a sample chip that these smears happen.. tell people that this product shows cleaning smears even though it is dried off.. shame shame shame on you polytec!!! Its my opinion this product is rubbish..
